Backwoods Island camping
Used the canoe for backwoods camping on an island. Great service, but the canoe doesn't have a keel, so is a bit hard to control in waves and wind, but it was comfortable and roomy.

Denne tur er bedst egnet til familier med børn under 10 år, eller folk, der er på et stramt tidsbudget, eller folk, der ønsker et eventyr med mindre engagement i aktivitet. Dette er et fuldt guidet 2-dages backcountry kano eventyr. Ingen erfaring er nødvendig, minimal til ingen portaging, egnet til alle. Denne tur er ikke en backcountry slog - vores primære fokus er tid brugt på lejr, så dette er især perfekt til unge familier eller folk, der har begrænset tid og ønsker at slappe af. Jeg vil varmt anbefale denne tur, hvis du har små børn! Vores Keji Canoe Trip vil begynde med et møde i vores hovedkvarter på Jake's Landing. Vi pakker dine ting i vores vandtætte, spiser en hurtig frokost (vi leverer dette!) og tager derefter af i vildmarken. På varme dage kan vi svømme fra en kano flotilla, eller fange lidt skygge og en snack under en gammel vækst hemlock træ. Vi stræber efter at blande luksus og komfort med Nova Scotias uforglemmelige landskab for at skabe et eventyr perfekt for alle at nyde.

Into the wild … and back
Really great experience with Caroline. It was the perfect mix of sport, adventure, relaxation, great food and fun. Really liked the légère atmosphere and yet how meticulously everything had been planned before. Highly recommend.

Very easy to book and helpful staff
Easy to book with and very helpful. This is my second time booking a canoe for a few nights in the Keji backcountry and I was surprised at how much the rental fees increased since I last booked in 2023. But if you aren’t able to borrow or buy a canoe ahead of time, Whynot definitely makes it an easy and smooth experience.

Big Dam Loop at Keji
Wife and I did a 2 night loop at Big Dam with our dog. Was a great loop and not too demanding. Whynot has all the gear you need, they were super friendly, and were helpful with portage recommendations. They even get us a lift from Jake’s landing to Big Dam to start the loop. Look forward to coming back and booking with them again!

Canoeing at its best
A fantastic tour with a super nice friendly and knowledgeable guide (Dylan) who also proved to be a perfect cook. A great tour through wonderful landscape. Beautiful camping spot, offering plenty of swimming in the lake. My wife and me and our grown up daughters enjoyed ourselves immensely!
