Gør dig klar til en kajaktur, der varer cirka 2 timer, hvor du vil opdage og udforske nogle huler. Turene afholdes i små grupper, så deltagerne kan få mest muligt ud af oplevelsen. Vores oplevelse begynder ved Marinha-stranden, der betragtes som en af de smukkeste strande i verden, og slutter ved Europas mest berømte hule, Benagil-hulen. Undervejs vil vi gøre stop for at nyde kystlandskabet, lære nogle lokale historier, tage billeder og, hvis det er muligt, gå i land på øde strande. Turen slutter på samme sted, hvor den startede, på Marinha-stranden, så du kan nyde resten af dagen på stranden.

We were a bit late to the tour, but they accommodated us with no problem. The guide was really friendly and helpful.
Very good experience, with a very friendly guide. The 7 AM outing was very early, but it allowed us to avoid being in the flow of tourists in canoes and boats.

Regarding the booking and the excursion, everything was perfect; Gonzalo was a wonderful guide, calm and experienced, he spoke "Portuñol" as he called it hahaha. August is August, and so many kayaks together was like tuna in a trap hahaha, but you have your moments to photograph moments individually! It is worth warning, and this seems to me the most important thing, that access to Marinha Beach is cut off immediately, the parking lot fills up quickly, and the police cut off traffic and don't let you access it unless you do it on foot; this implies parking the car wherever you can and nothing is close, we almost missed the excursion for this reason. We believe it is important that when booking these excursions they warn you beforehand, since you can easily miss them! We went with more than an hour of leeway and it was not enough to park in the parking lot.
The instructions for using the canoe were lacking, and they didn't give us the waterproof bags. Otherwise a beautiful tour, wonderful place.
A magnificent ride! The setting is incredible and the guide very pleasant! Equipment in good condition. However, plan for an early outing because there are many tourists. We did the 9 a.m. one and it was very good, but it was starting to get seriously crowded. Kayaking really seemed to us the most pleasant way to discover this area.
We left from Praia da Marinha for a kayak excursion, and unfortunately the experience ended very badly. Right from the start, we were lent a bag presented as being waterproof to put our phones in. Result: the bag took on water and my phone is completely out of order. My partner also received a life jacket whose zipper was broken, so it was impossible to close it properly. Despite these initial problems, we decided to participate in the activity anyway. The beginning of the excursion went well until the King Kong cave. Then, the situation became very dangerous. There were a huge number of boats, which created big waves. We fell into the water several times and were completely exhausted. Before arriving at the Benagil cave, we asked the instructor if it was possible to turn back because the conditions were so difficult. He replied that he could not take us back and seemed not to know what to do. Fortunately, a boat passed by at that moment. The instructor asked the driver if he could take us on board and drop us off at the beach. Luckily, he agreed; otherwise, we do not know how we could have gotten back. Upon our arrival at the beach, it was covered in seaweed; we had it up to our waists. We reached the other instructors with great difficulty. And there, to our great surprise, the first question they asked us was not whether we were okay, but where the kayak was. We explained to them that it stayed with the instructor who was accompanying us, but they did not seem to understand anything. From that moment on, they no longer paid any attention to us, as if we no longer existed. The beginning of the activity was promising, but the end was totally chaotic. Between the defective equipment, the supposedly waterproof bag that destroyed my phone, the lack of responsiveness in the face of a potentially dangerous situation, and the total lack of consideration for our safety after our return, we left extremely disappointed. We do not recommend this excursion.
Excellent tour! Make sure you book earliest possible tour - mostly to get parking before the police close the road in. We arrived at 8:30am and got the very last spot in the lot!
