Kaudulla National Park Safari giver dig mulighed for at se Sri Lankas vilde fauna i deres naturlige habitater. Rejs langs bredden af Kaudulla-tanken for at se flokke af elefanter komme efter vand. Lyt til kald fra mærkelige tropiske fugle, mens du forsøger at identificere dem. Prøv at få et glimt af albino-aksen hjorte, der siges at være unik for denne park i Sri Lanka. Safarien tager dig med på en kort game drive gennem Kaudullas vilde natur. Parken er kendt for sine elefantobservationer, især mod slutningen af den tørre sæson i september. Kaudulla-tanken er vært for en række fugle og andet dyreliv, der er den vigtigste kilde til ferskvand i det omkringliggende område. Du skal rejse i et ujævnt terræn (4WD) spilkøretøj. Kaudulla National Park blev etableret i 2002 og danner Kaudulla-Minneriya Jungle-korridoren nær Trincomalee. Det spreder sig over 6900 hektar plads og omfatter mange tørre stedsegrønne skove, forladte dyrkningsområder og græsarealer. Parkens økosystemer kredser hovedsageligt om Kaudulla-tanken, en af de gamle vandtanke bygget af kong Mahasena i det 3. århundrede e.Kr. Nu har parken omkring 24 arter af pattedyr, 25 arter af krybdyr, 26 arter af fisk og over 160 arter af fugle, der bor i helligdommen, foruden andre insekter og levende væsener.

We really liked the safari, the driver was professional, we saw many elephants and other animals. I recommend this.
I really enjoyed the safari. Saw many elephants, crocodiles and pelicans and the guide was very informative and friendly. Nice to see the animals in their natural habitat. Thanks.

The reserve actually consists of 3 parks. Our driver's name was Pliant. He showed us eagles, monkeys, many colored birds and an elephant in the jungle washing. However, the herds of elephants did not ... Then we suddenly noticed a lonely male. Pliant was approaching 20 meters. In the distance we saw another male at the lake water buffalo, but not the hundreds of elephants that were mentioned. Pliant really went out of his way to spot elephants. We stood still with the jeep (alone) and then suddenly dozens of elephants appeared from the bushes. She stood 10 meters from our jeep and then walked further to the lake. This has been one of the most beautiful moments of my travels!!!! So beautiful with all those little ones. Meanwhile, a lot of jeeps had suddenly arrived. When we left the reserve, they were really queuing (traffic jam!!!) to enter the reserve. I wouldn't have liked that.
Great afternoon. Saw150 elephants close up. Driver was very good. Would recommend this as a great activity.

I am delighted to say that you offer one of the best service during my visit to Sri Lanka. The driver Sumit was good, our communication per WhatsApp was very quick and comfortable. Payment through the web per Pay pal was also very convenient. We liked safari very much and met more than 50 elephants + other animals and birds. We also did appreciate advice from the company to visit Kaudulla Park rather than Minneriya because there were more elephants on that specific day (even though Kaudulla was 10$ cheaper). The driver Sumit even called us in 2 hours after we said goodbye in Habarana and asked how did we get to the hotel. It was very nice !

Very much enjoyed our safari with Lakpura LLC! They gave us great advice as to which park to visit for the highest chances of seeing elephants - and we saw hundreds! Our driver was professional and on time, and we so loved bouncing around with the roof down on our safari vehicle. This is a must for anyone wanting to get close to wild elephants in Sri Lanka!
Although the gathering was already over, we called Lakpura to ask if it is still possible to see elephants. They gave us advice to what park to go and at what time. And indeed, we still saw 70 elephants! The driver was kind and picked us up from our hotel. He was a very good driver and had respect for the elephants by keeping a proper distance. He also had some interesting facts to tell about the elephants. I would definetely recomend their service. Thank you for the great experience.
