Vores ture ledes af en lille lokal familieejet virksomhed med over 20 års erfaring på området. Dette er ikke din sædvanlige tur. Vi skabte denne oplevelse, som om vi var i dine sko. Derudover vil du besøge den største kaffeplantage i USA for at prøve de friskeste bønner. Fra Canyons til grønne hav klipper vil du blive forbløffet over skønheden og kraften i naturen. Du vil træde tilbage i tiden for at besøge charmerende byer som Waimea og Hanapepe, og prøve lækker mad lavet med lokale ingredienser undervejs. Vi vil besøge den største frugtplantage af kaffeavlere og brændere i USA. Prøv omkring 5 varianter gratis. Gå en tur gennem en del af frugtplantagen på en selvguidet tur, og lær alle stadier af dyrkning af kaffe fra frø til kop. Gør nogle indkøb efter Kauai-dyrkede kaffebønner og lokale souvenirs. Kan du ikke lide kaffe? Nyd en kold drik eller is i deres snackbutik.
Vi vil forsøde din dag med et kort stop ved Aloha Sweet Delights Bakery, hvor du kan købe lokalt og hjemmelavede lækkerier såsom vores berømte malasadas og manju.
I Waimea by, Kauai, vil vi gøre et kort stop, hvor den første vestlige opdagelsesrejsende, kaptajn James Cook, landede på øerne. Vi vil dele de utrolige historier om hans rejse og hans død.
Waimea Canyon State Park er et af Kauai naturlige vidundere, kendt som mini Grand Canyon i Stillehavet. Beundre denne geologiske perle fra forskellige udsigter, som vi stiger bjerget til omkring 3800' i højde. Vi vil komme ud af vognen på forskellige steder for fantastiske billedoptioner. Den vigtigste Canyon udkig er lukket for restaurering indtil december 2025. Vær venlig at vide, at Canyon er omkring 15 miles lang og 2 miles bred, derfor kan du stadig nyde fantastisk udsigt fra mange steder, når du går op ad Canyon vej. Majestætisk skønhed i sin fineste!
I Koke'e State Park vil vi nyde en fritidsfrokost på Koke'e Lodge Restaurant. Deres mad og drikkevarer er lokale, hjemmelavede og lækre (ikke inkluderet i rejseprisen). Du får 10 % rabat på dit måltid og i deres detailbutik. Efter frokost har du fri tid til at udforske Koke'e-museet for naturlig kulturhistorie, gå en tur gennem den smukke græsklædte mark omgivet af Sugi og Redwood fyrretræer, gå på en kort og let naturvandring for at lære om den indfødte flora og /eller fodre kyllingerne.
Kalalau, som er kendt som oplysningens dal, er den største og smukkeste på den berømte Na Pali-kyst. Selvom udsigten ikke er garanteret, vil vi gøre vores bedste for at du kan undre dig over dette naturlige vidunder.
Sidst på vores dagsorden er et besøg i den gamle historiske og charmerende by Hanapepe, hvor du kan støtte små lokalt ejede virksomheder, shoppe lidt efter Hawaii MADE souvenirs og kunst, køle af med en lækker lokalt fremstillet frugtispind, besøge den berømte Talk Story Bookstore for nogle sjældne og antikke bøger, og gå over den svingende bro bygget i 1912, hvis du tør!

Lad os vide via sms eller e-mail, hvor du vil bo på øen. Vi afhenter rejsende på alle hoteller og ejendomme på østsiden og sydsiden af øen, i krydstogtshavnen og i lufthavnen. Gæster, der bor på den nordlige kyst, vil møde os i byen Kapaa på et sted TBA før dagen for din tur.

Oh. My. Gosh! Cannot thank Coco enough for the wonderful experience she gave us on this tour! Mahalo! It was a pleasure to spend the day in her company, we could've done nothing but hang out with her and we would've had a great time. She was so personable and kind and a lot of fun. We loved getting to see the Waimea Canyon; it's majestic and has so many variations in vegetation and formation and coloration that anywhere you look is a unique scene. My 'in-laws' were particularly pleased with it's splendor in comparison to the Grand Canyon, which they enjoy. Coco took us to all of the lookout spots and, bonus, was a decent photographer with all the right placements of person to vista ratio. We also got to visit a bakery specializing in Malasadas (yes, yes, a thousand times yes!), the Kauai Coffee Company (freeeee samples!), the Koke'e Lodge (unctuously savory farm to table Hawaiian staples), & Koke'e State Park (although this particular tour did not have time for trails / views of Kalalau Valley) and Hanapepe, the little historic town featured in Lilo and Stitch with lots of great little local artisan shops. Coco shared interesting historical and cultural information along the way and was always encouraging us to ask questions. My partner was very interested in a geological book that she had, he even bought the last copy (it's out of print now) at the Koke'e Gift Shop. She gave us great recommendations for what else to try before we left (Wailua Shave Ice) and what to do on our last day between hotel check out and rental car return (Kilohana Plantation). We just loved Coco so much! <3 I named my super kawaii pineapple travel pillow souvenir 'Coco-chan' :3 Oh yeah, Coco's daughter, Shasta, is also a guide and we kept seeing her at different stops; I would 100% recommend her expertise as well. Ohana, yo!

Signed up for small group but because of low sign up adjusted to semi private tour for 4 people. Shasta was our host and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about island. Picked up and returned us up to our resort so no driving which was great. Gave us plenty of time at each stop and recommendations of what to look for, what to eat and where to shop. Always felt safe with her driving and use of head set made it easy to hear while driving. Would definitely recommend.

This tour was an engaging and stunning introduction to Kaua'i. We knew little to nothing about the island when we arrived and wouldn't have had the slightest idea where to drive and explore had we just gone out on our own. The tour taught us so much about the island, which greatly improved our experience for the rest of our visit. It was an incredible way to see many of the island's highlights from the best possible vantage points, while also enjoying an authentic experience of the culture of the island. Crucially, the company reached out to us a couple of days prior to the tour to alert us to issues with underbooking, and provided a range of options of how to still enjoy the tour while adjusting for the circumstances. The personal communication, friendliness and commitment to providing an excellent experience are second to none. Almost immediately, it felt like having a local friend show you their favorite spots on the island, rather than being an impersonal and overly rehearsed tour. We didn't know it upon booking, but the family-owned nature of the company really showed through over the course of the tour, which added to the authenticity and personal feel of the tour. That said, it was still a professional, clean and safe tour. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone visiting the island, regardless of age or party size. If you are lucky enough to have Shasta as your tour guide, I can 100% promise you're in for an excellent experience.
