Shankar was a fantastic tour guide. He is very passionate about his culture and nation, and he is extremely knowledgeable about his history. He was super informative and kept it interesting the entire time....something that is not easy to do over a 5 hour tour! I highly recommend Shankar and this tour!
It was a wonderful experience, Sajana very pending and answering throughout the year to each and every one of the doubts we had. Our guide was Santosh and it was a great hit! If we come back, we will definitely contact them again!
This tour was fantastic! Sanjay was knowledgeable, super friendly, and made the whole experience enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour for those who want an in depth experience of these sites
Everything about this was great. It was well planned. Our guide was great and very knowledgable. The company were in constant communication with us answering any of our questions. The trip was flexible and we could change or add things if we wanted to. Great tour and couldn’t recommend enough. Thank you
Always had a wish list of visiting Nepal and trek to the Everest base Camp of the world's tallest mountain. After researching for the best and local trekking company in Kathmandu, Nepal I came across to Nepal Hiking Adventure. I found them were very honest, kind and helpful. I came to Nepal alone but there was a person from the agency who dropped me to my hotel. Later, he took me to his office and I came to know he was my guide for my trip to Everest Base Camp trek. This am a solo travelers but I was requested for group join trek for EBC, NHA has prepared a small group of people from different world, it was a great to meet different people for the trek. We had a small meeting with Bishnu, the managing director and Ram our tour guide. Bishnu brief everything regarding the trip. After that, Ram suggest me best cafes and restaurants nearby my hotel for tasting authentic Nepalese cuisine. Since, I visited Nepal alone they introduce me to wonderful groups of people around as well. Trekking with them was just amazing. We all were visiting Nepal for the first time as well as trekking in Everest but our tour guides and porters make this trip easy, fun, exciting and very memorable. I was truly amazed by our porters Chiring and Lakpa, they were carrying heavy loads of bags on a steep rough pathway whereas we were getting breathless even we were carrying a light backpack. Throughout the trek, we talk about our personal life stories and learn a lot things about this region. The views from Everest Base camp and Kala Patthar is beyond any imagination which gives you the feelings that Heaven exists in the form of Himalayas. A big thank you to our guide, porters and other Nepal Hiking Adventure team for making my journey everlasting. I will never forget this adventurous journey I took with an amazing group of people. I suggest people to take physical and mental training before starting this trek as it can be very helpful while trekking long distance. I can’t forget this especially at last I would recommend Nepal Hiking Adventure to those who wants best services as this company truly offers high quality services.
Well I did my Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour on the last week of May with my Colleagues Sam and Robin. Before this tour we had no knowledge about this trip, I was quite nervous and scared about getting altitude sickness but our tour manager Bishnu Lamsal motivated us and told me that if there is such a risks and if any such case occurs you will fly back to lower elevated places for acclimatization. Somehow I was convinced to do Everest Helicopter Tour after listening to them. The views during the EBC helicopter tour were amazing from above and landing. We landed in Lukla for some time then we headed towards Everest Base Camp. Along the way, was showing the beautiful peaks and providing information about the villages, rivers, valleys, monastery, national park that we cross. The helicopter lands on Everest Base Camp (Kalapatter) for 10 minutes and we started taking photographs and videos and have the lifetime picture of World Highest Peak. Then we back to Everest View Hotel where we took lunch. The foods were quite good never expected to have such good quality foods at this height. After that, we fly back to Kathmandu and escorted to our hotel rooms. In overall, this trip was magical and the views and scenery was beyond any imagination. I truly thanks to Nepal Hiking Adventure for making this journey memorable. The do what they say. They provide excellent services and i would like to recommend you to visit Nepal Hiking Adventure if you want best tour and trekking services.
It is my second time in Nepal before it was 1 year ago. Last year, I went for Kathmandu City Tour with some hiking around the Nagarkot. This year I planned for short and easy hiking so I read blogs, reviews and articles related to short treks in Nepal and landed on Nepal Hiking Adventure site. After analyzing, I contacted company’s manager Bishnu Lamsal. He was so kind and calming, he answers my question very gentle and provides information on popular Nepal short treks. Finally, I landed on Mardi Himal Trek after listening to the amazing highlights of this trek. After On my arrival to Kathmandu, Nepal there was Ram who was going to be my trek guide to Mardi Himal. I find him very fun and caring type person. He asked how my flight was, did I eat anything or not. After reaching hotel I refreshed up and went to their company to discuss about the trip. They give me brief information about the trip. From the start of this trip, our tour guide Ram starts providing information of beautiful villages, their culture, monastery, Himalayan ranges and more. He showed us what we are looking for. He explore us around these local villages of Gurung and Magars. Truly learned great things from these villages and our guide. The trails was easy to moderate while ascending and descending was easy and fast. Along the way, I used to talk with our guide and porters. At teahouses he used to tell jokes and I have to laugh with them even though I can’t understand them. The great team of Nepal Hiking Adventure makes this trip of mine an unforgettable adventure of my life. I highly recommend this Mardi Himal Trek for those who want to experience Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges without spending long days of trekking. A great thank you to Nepal Hiking Adventure team and recommend to you all to visit this agency if you ever made your trip to Nepal.
I was in Nepal with few friends for few days in our holidays. We found Nepal Hiking Adventure to organize our a day tour in Kathmandu Valley and NHA team organized our a day tour around Kathmandu and they have made our lifetime memorable tour ever. Since we first meet to Bishnu and his team we feel that we are in the right place with right person to organize our tour. The guide Prasant was very professional and informative about everything. He make our day tour is very enjoyable and memorable. Definitely we recommend NHA without any hesitation. If you prefer to book any trip with NHA just go ahead you won’t regret.
Hiring Nepal Hiking Adventure Company was a best way to meet nepalian culture and country. Service of this Company was excellent and we got more then we expected. It was worth of every cent indeed...Our guide Ram together with Bishnu found solutions for every problem we encountered on our amazing trek to Base Camp Everest for we didn't have to worry about anything but enjoy our fantastic journey through astonishing Himalayan range. After this trek we spend some time in Kathmandu valley and team from Nepal Hiking Advanture Company provided the best service here as well. If you want not to worry about anything during your adventure and meet culture and people of this amazing country on the best possible way we would definitely recommend Nepal Hiking Adventure Company to guide you through. Best service ever and great people in the team who responded on our each wish and need quickly and efficiently. We got much more then we paid for...it was a lifetime experience indeed. Thank you guys for everything you did for us. We will surely come back again.
It has always been an ambition of ours to walk up to EBC and after some research online we found NHAC. A prompt detailed email reply from Bishnu (Managing Director) told us that this was the company to go with. After further email exchanges we booked on to a tour and never looked back. In Kathmandu we were met at the airport by our guide and later we were met by Bishnu in our hotel. He checked our gear and told us what we did and didn't need. The tour itself was excellent. Zore was a fantastic guide and pointed out all the interesting viewpoints along the way. You see some stunning scenery along the walk. Each day you walk for 4-6 hours over hilly terrain. Some bits are a slog; some bits are thoroughly enjoyable. Each day you have three meals provided, which are very tasty and very filling! The biggest surprise to us was the accommodation. Each night we stayed in a small hotel and there is the facility to charge your devices, have a hot shower and get wifi. These do have a small cost to them and get more expensive as you go further up the mountain. We also spent quite a lot on drinks as these are not included in the price. An extra £200 for all of the above should cover you for the duration of the trek. Water is available at every stop but you will need purification tablets to clean the water. This might sound unappealing but it really is fine. One thing to be mindful of, if you go in the off-season, you might get stuck in Lukla. At the end of a long trek, stinking in your clothes, you 'll want to get out of Lukla and back to the 'comforts' of Kathmandu. We had to charter a helicopter which set us back another $700 but Bishnu did return us the cost of the flight as this was cancelled. This is your choice as the flights are often cancelled during this time of year. There was a guy in our hotel cabin who had been there EIGHT days waiting for a flight. Didn't quite fancy that... Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the trip and Bishnu helped to make it as simple and easy as possible. He provided us with a letter to send off to our insurance company too because of the cancelled flight. Thank you Bishnu and NHAC!
