Kanjac Kajak Fiskeri Cavtat

I love fishing and the boat charters were to expensive. I tried the Kayaks for the first time and really enjoyed it. I didn't want to go too far out as the bay is quiet busy with boats and jet skis and I did feel quite small in the boat. You get 4 rods, 2 for spinning and 2 for bottom feeding. I bought 6 fish but the highlights were a White Grouper which fought so hard and a small barracuda. Highly recommend.

Nikola was a knowledgeable friendly guide who put me at ease during my first kayak experience.The kayaks were superbly equipped and easy to manoeuvre. I thoroughly enjoyed catching yellow fins on very light tackle and rods it was really great fun. It is also a fantastic way to see Croatia’s stunning coastline. I will definitely be back for another go. I fully recommend the experience.

I went out on a kayak fishing trip with Nikola on July 28th, 2023. It was a really great experience! I have been kayak fishing before, but it was a long time ago. These new kayaks that Nikola has are so good, so stable and easy to manipulate. Nikola was great in showing how to read the fish finder (each kayak comes with a Lowrance fish finder, and it's critical in getting you fish in the boat). The fishing set-up was easy. I caught my first fish on a jig within five minutes of pushing out to sea. Most of the catch after that was on bait, which Nikola provides to you. I caught 20-30 fish on the trip, most on bait. If a relaxing day out on the water constantly hooking up fish sounds good to you, book this trip. The scenery is amazing, learning to read the fish finder is fun, and hooking up after you spot a school under your kayak on the fish finder is the best. Nikola and the amazing abundance of the Cavtat/Mlini waters will not let you down. Bring a burlap sack for fish you want to keep, or a stringer to put in the water. Only downside was fish were very small, but still fun to hook and reel in.
