6:30 mødes gruppen på det udpegede mødested eller en afhentning fra dit hotel i centrum. Tag derefter direkte til Kanchanaburi-provinsen. 10:00 Udforsk Kanchanaburi War Cemetery. Chungkai var en af base lejrene på jernbanen mellem Burma og Siam og indeholdt et hospital og en kirke bygget af allierede krigsfanger. Krigsfængslet er den oprindelige begravelsesplads, der blev startet af fangerne selv, og begravelserne er for det meste af mænd, der døde på hospitalet. Ankom til River Kwai Bridge Kanchanaburi, Den berømte bro I løbet af 2. verdenskrig byggede Japan jernbanelinjen med meter-gauge fra Ban Pong, Thailand til Thanbyuzayat, Burma. Det er nu kendt som dødens jernbane. Oplev at tage et tog fra River Kwai Bridge til Kasae Cave.
Ankomme til Krasae Cave, et historisk sted, hvor POWs engang hvilede, beliggende ved siden af Death Railway. I dag er det en populær destination, hvor besøgende kan gå langs jernbanen og holde pause for at hylde Buddha-billedet indhyllet i hulen.
Nyd en lækker frokost på JR Tham Krasae Restaurant. Med en buffet thailandsk mad med en god panorama udsigt over floden. The booking process needs improvement. We were given three different pick up times and asked for unnecessary paperwork eg copy of passport a week before the event However the driver and the tour leader were of exceptional quality. It was a long 11.5 hour day but we all decided that it was one of the best experiences we’ve had as we travel the world

This experience has been a highlight of my travels . Super comfortable with a private car , the guide Jimmy had an incredible amount of knowledge was friendly with a great science of humour. Our driver Pratheep was very experienced and courteous and we felt incredibly safe in our travels . The tour was full of history and beauty and was incredibly touching. I really appreciate every bit of the experience. The waterfalls were a great way to finish with. Do your self a favour and take the opportunity to do this tour.

The trip and experience was exceptional. The tour guide (ViVi) was excellent. The knowledge and enthusiasm and knowledge was outstanding. Avator tours had excellent price, exceptional staff, clean transportation.

It was an interesting experience to get out of Bangkok and see some of the Thai countryside. The lunch was pretty good for these kind of excursions with decent food and a beautiful view. Our guide Mam was extremely nice and helpful although we could not understand all she said.
Be prepared for the long hot day. As a planned group of 7, we were surprised to collect another couple. Very knowledgeable guide, with courteous driver. Parts of the road journey aittle hairy, some very crazy driving goes on. The tour it's self very sobering and thought provoking, but glad we did it. Amazing scenery.

My tour was cancelled the night before - so I didn’t get to experience this. It’s quite disappointing - received a message asking to change my dates etc

Very interesting program of the day. We enjoyed visiting the Kwai River Bridge, the cave and the train tour. Everything was colorful. However, big downside: our guide, whose name is unknown since he did not show up, gave us very little information as much about the course of the day as about the history of this place. Moreover, he did not stop talking loudly all along the way without addressing us.
