We combined a half day tour + food tour and had such a great day with Megumi! Criselda provided us with an excellent tour of Kanazawa. She knew the history and got us around very efficiently on public transportation. We had an excellent local lunch at an udon noodle place. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan.

Shoten mapped out a great itinerary for tour in Kanazawa. He listened to our interests and packed the day very nicely. We went to the Ninja Temple, Ninja Museum, Omichi Market, Oyama Shrine, Kanazawa Castle, Kenrokuen Garden, and ended in the Higashi Chaya District and gold leaf crafting experience. We were somewhat limited in our communication due to the language barrier on both sides. Also, please be aware that all admission fees, lunch as well as transportation for the day as well as for Shoten's travel to and from home is the responsibility of the client.
It sounds like Shoten crafted a wonderful itinerary for your day in Kanazawa, showcasing some of the city's most fascinating sites! The mix of historical, cultural, and hands-on experiences (like the gold leaf crafting) seems like a great way to explore the area.
