We went as a couple on a Friday which wasn’t too busy. I enjoyed the red bus tour of Johannesburg but I do think that the Soweto tour was absolutely stand-out. Our first guide Thabang was really engaging, made the tour interactive and was very knowledgeable. We hopped off at Vilakazi Street to have lunch at Sakhumzi then went with Keamogetswe who was also knowledgeable and funny. I definitely recommend adding on the Soweto tour if you’re going to do the red bus tour and start the tour early so you can spend more time in Soweto.

We took the Soweto tour, the tour lasts about 2 hours, for me it is an essential stop to understand some aspects of South Africa. The guides were excellent, highly recommended.

I loved the tour, the value was more in mind than buying with the company itself, and I arrived at the meeting point, validate my ticket and followed the role. I recommend this tour, it is a way to get to know the city of Joanesbugo, they deliver a speaker and you listen about the history of the country in your own language The buses are very punctual and I picked up with Soweto. I highly recommend this tour!

Highly recommended. Safe option of travelling around Johannesburg. Guides are knowledgeable and informative. The only issue we encountered is the ticket sent to us has the wrong hotel shuttle pick up time , resulted in delay in our tour by 1 hour. Our guide & driver, DT & Teddy have provided us a great insight into Soweto.

good way to see the city, and they were super nice letting me store my luggage in the office! the only slight issue was that the hop-on hop-off times don’t seem to line up with the soweto tour times very well

I surprised my two little girls aged 7 and 12 with the bus tour and they were ecstatic! I had been before but this was their first time. I decided to tune into the kids channel just to monitor what my 7 year old would be listening to and can I unashamedly say I probably enjoyed it more than they did. LOL. I loved the characters the storylines, I was singing along with the songs, and the jokes made me holla out loud the entire time. I also loved that they were getting the important education in this manner. My 12 year old ended up also switching to our channel and was cracking up along with us. We will definitely be back to include Soweto and we cannot wait to do the Cape Town tour and any other international destination we find ourselves in where the Bus operates. What a joyful experience. The bus tour was good but the Soweto small bus tour was excellent. The guide Caruso ? was amazing Highly recommend this part of the tour

The schedule could be a little wider because the route without descending is already long, allowing only 3 descents

We had an amazing time! On the bus you get plenty of info on many parts of the city and its history. Definitely recommend adding the Soweto tour as well! We were lucky to have Kagiso as our guide, who gave us a great insight into life in the townships and most importantly spread nothing but positivity and good vibes. 10/10!
