Efter hotelopsamling kørsel til Jerusalem i cirka en time og start en dejlig vandretur i den fascinerende gamle by gennem højdepunkterne i det armenske kvarter, det muslimske kvarter, det jødiske kvarter og det kristne kvarter. Vi lærer om jødedom, kristendom og islam. Vi besøger "Shuk" kendt som "Suk" - den lokale Bazar og besøger Cardo - den gamle romerske og bysantinske vej. Besøg det helligste sted for det jødiske folk, "Kotel" - den vestlige mur, der er kendt som den Klagermur, hvor vi kan skrive et ønske på et stykke papir og sætte det i væggens revner. Oversigt over det område, hvor Tempelbjerget ligger. Fortsæt til det kristne kvarter for at besøge det helligste sted i verden - Den hellige gravs kirke - hvor vi besøger den sidste station på krydset af Via Dolorosa. Vi ser Golgotha, hvor Jesus blev korsfæstet, og vi vil se Edikula-strukturen - placeringen af graven, hvor Jesus blev begravet og genopstået. Videre til den muslimske bydel for at se et af de helligste steder for det muslimske folk - Klippekupplen og Al Aqsa-moskeen og lære om de islamiske historier på disse steder. Vend tilbage til hotellet.

Our tour of Jerusalem with Avi was one of a kind. We took a walk through different parts of Jerusalem the day before Passover and visited the holy sites of many different religions. Along the way, we stopped to get a quick bite, drink a coffee, and taste some local specialties. Our tour guide Avi was very knowledgable and provided us with historical insights that allowed us to understand the city in all of its complexities and contradictions. We were in a small group, so it was much easier to coordinate what we wanted to and when we wanted to do it. This allowed for ample shopping time and a smooth, relaxed pace. We saw all the important stops without feeling rushed, and Avi even helped us locate different shops where we wanted to buy specific items or find some gifts to bring back home to family and friends. All in all, a highly memorable and recommended experience!

If you really want to see the holy city in great details, this is the way to do it. I just finished the tour with three participants and walked the walk. Excellent tour guide Arora(?) and saw many places the big groups wouldn’t go. Arora is very knowledgeable and did a good job. Thumb up.
We decided to book this tour to help us navigate Jerusalem as newcomers. It turned out to be an incredible journey through the amazing history of the city, through knowledge but also trough a deep personal connection. We appreciated Avi’s deep understanding of the culture, the people and the history of this incredible place, and how he makes you actually understand among the complexity of it. Our group ended to be only 4 participants which made a very intimate cozy group. All questions were welcomed and despite the scorching heat, Avi was able to take us comfortably to all places.
