Japan Ubegrænset WiFi-router - Narita Airport Pickup

I had booked an portable wifi device and it was ready upon arrival. The line was long but once I got to the counter, it took less than one minute to get my device. No instructions, but it was straightforward to use. Worked very well throughout my 10-day tour of Japan. The return was also as easy.

Do not deal with this company. Expensive, unreliable and will end up costing you. Avoid at all costs. Recommend using any other company

We booked the Wifi in advance at home online and then picked it up directly at the airport. This all worked out super easy. Connecting to our devices was totally easy. The network coverage was really good. We dropped it off at the airport. Definitely recommended!

Preparations for leaving for Japan, the problem arises of choosing between pocket wi-fi, physical SIM or eSIM. Together with my wife, we see many vlogs and read many blogs. Many advise against Wi-FI pockets in favor of eSIMs because they are cheaper and less bulky. For our part, however, we decide for the Wi-Fi pocket and choose Ninija Wi-Fi, slightly more expensive than the others. After the trip we can say that ours was a great choice for the following reasons: - pick up in Tokyo Narita and fast delivery to Osaka Kansai, - simple switching on and connection to devices, - excellent speed, - never a disconnection in the whole two-week trip, - we tested it and it worked perfectly for: Whatsapp video calls, Whatsapp messages, intensive use of Google Map, social, internet, video. - we had chosen the package with the spare battery but it was only necessary to use it once and we switched it on on on average in the morning at 9 and used it continuously until the evening at 9. About Ninja Wi-Fi, we can say that the service was efficient and fast both during the booking and return phase (the night before, a memo arrives by email reminding you of the return instructions). We suggest taking out the package with full insurance protection. Highly recommended.

Terrible assistance. I booked from Italy for myself and my colleagues and when I picked up there was no reservation. The company passed the responsibility on to another company and made us lose 1 hour. Eventually, we paid for a new rental and left. Don't book it from Italy!!! It is best to rent it directly at the airport given the wide availability.

We requested for the router to be picked up at our hotel but it was never delivered . We could not contact anyone to have it delivered at the hotel yet you sent a text to write a review?

It was a nightmare dealing with them. I had forgot to return which I realised after clearing security. I called them while I was still in Tokyo and they confirmed that I will be charged the same daily rate which was applied while I was using it. To my horror, they charged twice plus other charges. In the email, they acknowledged that they provided the wrong information but penalised me for their mistakes. I told them if I had know that they would charge so much, I would have mailed back by express. They are cheaters and thus avoid if you can.

The staff was very unfriendly at the Narita Airport. When I picked up the pocket wifi, the staff was very frustrated as I couldn't quite understand what kind of paperwork they needed from me. No one should have to pay for this kind of treatment. Also, I had to constantly recharge the pocket wifi a few times a day. The battery life was very short.

Japan-Wireless 5 Stars! We ordered prior to our trip on line. We requested that the router be sent to our hotel. The item was indeed there at checkin. Seem less to use, took seconds and we were connected. We travelled to various places in Japan and always had full bars and fast internet. Very pleased with the service and product. The only slight complaint is the turn around for responses when you email them.
