Mens du i Jakarta tilbringer tid med os privat til udkanten. Bogor, find den anderledes atmosfære i køligt vejr, fordi byen ligger under bjerget. Botanisk have ligger i centrum af byen og støder op til præsidentpaladskomplekset. Området er på 87 hektar og har en samling af 15.000 arter af træer og planter. Den geografiske af Bogor, som kalder regn by, inde i haven kan du gå eller leje den elektriske cykel, scooter, mini bil eller normal cykel. Der er mere aktivitet at udforske botanisk. Vi kører til Bogor, vi bruger 1 time fra dit sted eller hotel, og fortsætter derefter med at udforske den botaniske have i Bogor. Midt på dagen vil vi tilbringe tiden på lokal restaurant med udsigt til "Salak-bjerget" og mellemkøkken i Bogor by. Mens du er der kan du også bruge tid på kaffe, juice, kokos og kaffe i dine udgifter. Kør derefter til vandfaldet og besøg en trædukke.
Efter frokost eller vandfald er "Wayang golek eller trædukkemager", og det er en af arven fra sundanesisk kultur. Kør igennem op ad bakken inden for 1 time, efter ankomsten går vi langs fyrretræet med se abens familie eller gruppe og går derefter igennem til den stenede Alley, der ligner en canyon. Vandfaldet har 3 sider, du kan vælge til svømning eller bare forynget sjæl og sind. Kørsel tilbage til byen, følg Ciomas-vejen, der er en masse lokale ting, du vil se og kan se det hinduistiske tempel på en anden vej, og det blev designet af hinduisten (valgfrit). Og også comeback samme vej inden for 1 time, så kører vi tilbage til det sted, du bor inden for 1 time.

The guide and driver were friendly and experienced and willing to alter the itinerary order - Thank you. The Bogor Botanic gardens and waterfall were excellent. The Rice fields and lunch were good. I was surprised to see tourists abseiling at the waterfall - maybe that option could have been offered for my tour or future tours??

The day exceeded our expectations: the botanical gardens were beautiful, the waterfall walk exciting (remember your flipflops although they can be purchased at the sitr as well), monkey family adorable, rice fields serene and lunch in the middle of the fields was delicious.

It was a lovely experience driving from Jakarta to Bogor for a multi experience trip. Ivan was great and Mr Man the driver was ever so helpful. I loved the history behind puppet making and even bought to masks.

I had a blast exploring the Bogor botanical garden, hijacked by local school kids for an interview for their school assignment and paid back in amazing fried banana snacks. Hiking in the jungle to the jackfruit waterfall while spotting many monkeys on the way, getting caught in the rain on the vast rice fields while stopping for a Tempeh 2nd lunch after the 1st which was Bakso :)

Had a great experience with Ivan, my tour guide and Elun the driver. Air conditioned vehicle with comfy seat. Picked me up at the airport during my layover. A great way to get out of the city and see some sites. Waterfall and monkeys were the highlight with a serene lunch in the Rice Fields. How do you spell very good English, which was nice so there was conversation during the driving. Also highly recommend. Would suggest you wear a swimsuit under your clothes and shoes that can go in the water to best enjoy the waterfall. The light did not do either. It was still very enjoyable.

We had a very good trip with Tripedia. We booked via TripAdvisor website and got in touch with the company staff right away to advice on the pickup time and location. ParkRoyal hotel wasn't on the list but we was able to set it as our pickup. The pickup was prompt and uneventful. Ivan was our trip guide, his knowledge of the Botanic Garden was great, was able to answer any question we had. The waterfall was nice, Ivan knows the area enough to advice us where is deep enough to swim in. The lunch on the rice paddy field was relaxing. We travelled in a private car, with Ivan and a driver, no other client was with us. Highly recommended!

Great discovery. I did this activity two days after arriving in Jakarta. A great start to discover the country and its diversity. Guide was very friendly and I learned a lot about the places visited and Indonesian culture. I highly recommend it.
