Jødernes historie i Oslo og Norge er kort og karakteristisk. Denne tur er også usædvanlig, da den dækker det meste af historien på en gade. Vi starter foran det sted, hvor den første jødiske familie bosatte sig i Oslo og fortsætter op ad hovedgaden Karl Johan. Gaden var altid fyldt med aktivitet, og det er ikke overraskende, at jødiske forretningsmænd også åbnede butikker der. Monumenter, parlamentsbygningen og selv byens vigtigste kirke har alle en vis forbindelse til jødisk historie. Forestil dig, at selv den kongelige familie har noget til fælles med en jødisk dreng fra Tunesien. Turen ledsages af mange visuelle materialer og historier fra Oslos jødiske samfund. Turen slutter ved synagogen. Desværre er det ikke altid muligt at besøge den. Gåturen fra paladset til synagogen kan være udfordrende. If we could give Rami a 6 or 7, we would gladly do so. We cannot say enough positive things about how much we learned on our tour today and how much we enjoyed Rami’s ability to bring the stories he shared to life with pictures and places he pointed out. I have taken Jewish focused tours in many cities throughout Europe and this was truly one of the best. We very much appreciated being able to visit the synagogue during our tour. I did my homework in advance and saw only positive reviews and now I know why firsthand. Rami is an excellent tour guide.

Oslo Photo Tour I had the chance to have a photo tour during my visit here in Oslo. Rami is a very knowledgeable guide and not only that he knows interesting, non-touristy spots, but he also knew a lot about photography techniques. I am so glad to have this photo walk because I could learn a few things about Oslo (culture, history) and also photography (composition). Highly recommended for those who’d like to experience Oslo in an interesting way.
