Isklatring i små grupper og gletsjervandring i Solheimajokull

Beskrivelse

It was amazing - my daughter loved it. I was more nervous as I am a bit scared of heights but I felt very safe and was extremely proud to make a good showing of it. Really memorable experience.
This was hands down the best thing we did in Iceland! Our guide was so patient and kind. Having a small group was well worth the money to allow everyone ample time to climb. It was my family of four and father and daughter combo. My boys are 10 and 13 and ice climbed 40 ft.! I was so proud of them. The views were breathtaking and we had a perfect day of weather. Such an awesome experience!!!
Excellent small group experience! Our guide was prepared and extremely knowledgeable about ice climbing and Iceland in general. Very accommodating to our requests as well. Highly recommended!
So much fun! We had a great guide who explained things well and always made sure we were being safe. The group size was small (about 7 people) so we were able to do three climbs at different locations. He started us on a smaller part to help explain things to us and then we gradually went to more challenging places. We had a good group and we were out there a little longer than the 4.5 hour suggested time limit. It was a lot of fun and we highly recommend!!
We had such a great time! Our guide was patient and really added to our wonderful experience. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time! We went at our own pace, had the ice cave all to ourselves, took multiple climbs and our guide was very informative and interesting. We would highly recommend this tour.
Great guide, interesting facts, fun activity, I felt very safe during the whole experience. The time went by way too quickly
Our guide was awesome! So glad we did the small group. We got a totally different and way better experience than had we gone in a large group!
Choose this company to meet awesome local guides and avoid the huge tour group sizes. I booked a very last minute tour with North Ice the night before the scheduled tour (probably better if you book in advance, but my travel plans had suddenly changed). The company was insanely responsive and super accommodating in helping me schedule a private session. They actually contacted me late outside their regular hours to arrange this and made the helpful suggestion to start earlier than their standard time to maximize the day. Above and beyond communication & customer service—way exceeded expectations. The tour itself was fantastic. I did a private ice climbing tour with Bergur and he was super friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and overall a great guide who found climbs that would be fun for me as I’d done a bit of ice climbing before. I was able to do about 6 laps in the 4 hr time and explore the glacier a bit. You won’t regret booking a tour with this company! Worth every penny and the highlight of my trip. Huge thanks to North Ice Expeditions and Bergur for such an amazing experience.
One sentence, we did not participate in the event and did not get a refund. We were 20 minutes early that day and navigated to our destination based on the address shown in the picture but did not find the operator, in fact this address took us to Vik. so I contacted Vaitor for the operator phone number and tried to contact with them, they gave me a phone number but that phone number was wrong. I had to send a message online to the operator to wait for a response. It also wasted some times. When the vendor responded with my phone number, it was already very close to the start of the event, and I realized the address on the website could not take me to the meeting point. At that time I told the operator it could take me half an hour to get to the correct address, the operator said they couldn't wait for me, I understood that and asked if they could arrange a refund, they said yes and would email me back. However I did not recieve the email and I contacted Vaitor again, Vaitor told me I could not get a refund. I understand that I did in fact fail to arrive at the location by the specified time. I have reflected on the whole thing, but I did search for the address on the web page, not realizing that it was inaccurate, and also arrived 20 minutes early, and I don't think I am the only one at fault here. All in all it was a very bad experience.
