Hands-on Batik Experience, som er en meget engagerende og interaktiv trin-for-trin-session, der dækker alle aspekter af at skabe en Batik-klud. Du vil komme til at skabe dit eget design og tage det som en souvenir. Du kommer til at arbejde med traditionelle værktøjer og får mulighed for at være vidne til, hvordan batik-instruktøren, der også er batik-skaber, arbejder i det daglige. Da gruppestørrelsen er lille, får du mulighed for at stille spørgsmål. Instruktøren vil personligt guide hver deltager, hvor de har brug for hjælp.

Had a great time with the mother/daughter pair… they were very accommodating and helpful!! Would recommend as a great cultural experience… the mom is clearly an artist and just a lovely, patient guide… and the daughter eas a great aid, translating and helping us through the process.
An excellent batik workshop given by experienced artists. We received a very warm welcome and got tea and some traditional snacks.
The most wonderful, traditional experience, learning Batik,in the hosts home. Such a fun and rewarding experience, came away with knowledge and skills to be able to continue my practice at home. Also bought some beautiful hand painted and batik dresses, designed and created by the host, she is truly a skilled and talented artist. I was treated to delicious sandwiches, ginger tea and sweets and left with my beautiful batik piece, feeling like a part of the family. This is a must do, for any one interested in batik, while visiting Kandy .

The knowledge & talent they shared was just brilliant. Such patients, talking you through each step of the process to create your own peice of art, to take away with you. I loved it, the best part of my Sri Lanka journey so far. I would highly recommend!! Thank you, once again.

Fantastic experience, really relaxing and something different from the a usual holiday activities. We were looked after throughout the morning and made some lovely creations which we could take home. I’d definitely recommend.
Fun experience with the most Lovely People. Perfect to do when you expect Rain. They welcomed us in their home and make us food during the waiting time! Fun souvernier and experice to take back home!
Wonderful time with Manugi and her mom! We were hosted like family and had a blast learning about this ancient (tedious) art. It is always special to share a moment trough skills. I had such a pleasant experience learning batik with Anuja and her children. Anuja was very patient and took me through the steps very gracefully and gently. I learned a lot about how to do batik and I got to take the piece that I made back home too! Truly a hidden gem in Kandy.
It was an amazing experience! We had an amazing time with the host family. The workshop itself was very educative and interactive. We made some interesting designs on a piece of clothing and later on made it in a bag that can be used for different things. Thank you very much, hope to see you again soon!
