Booked the wine tasting, dinner and show many months in advance to avoid disappointment, in the recommendation of a friend. The booking was simple and easy with the company confirming straight away asking whether I would like transport. We organised this with them and the driver was on time and friendly for both journeys. When we arrived it was very busy and we had to wait to get in. The doorman sent us through to reception to register and then we were taken up stairs to the tango salon. There was some confusion as the wine tasting group and the tango dancing lesson people merged and the tutor thought he had a huge class! Anyway we were rescued from the tango lesson much to my husband’s relief and taken to the wine room. The wine guide was passionate about wine and we gleamed a few little gems of knowledge. He spoke very fast and unfortunately some was lost in translation. I really enjoyed the experience and for $10 extra it was well worth it. The quality of the dinner before the show was really good however the ‘peaky blinders’ type servers were stressed and blunt. We enjoyed the show although it went on too long. 30 mins less would have been good. Lastly, the servers were blunt in their insistence of tips which I found stressful. All in all a good show for the money.
We weren’t quite sure what to expect, but we received far more than we had anticipated. The dinner was delicious—3 courses with several choices for each. The wait staff was a performance of timing and precision getting orders, drinks, serving, clearing up, all before the performance. The food was cooked perfectly. How they could serve so many people in the time they had was a magician’s feat. Then came the dancers and musicians who were all very talented and seemed to enjoy performing. The dances were simply breathtaking. Everything is carefully planned down to the shoes that were impeccably matched to each costume. It is such a glamorous performance. The inclusion of folkloric was delightful and the bolo dancer/performer was incredible. This is an absolute must see when in Buenos Aires.
Great experience. Beautiful place, nice and organized. Nice show and fair food. It is worth getting to know a bit of the Argentine culture.
Very organized, wonderful staff and beautiful venue. Tables were a bit tight but manageable because we are small people. Show was a combination tango and cultural song and dance. A little touristy but also quite authentic. Food was excellent. Small reminder for guests, don’t hold your phone up and video most of the performance. It blocks others view and pictures.
It was an impressive experience. Dance, folklore, singing very nicely performed. From the reception to the end all very polite and forwarding, despite the very tightly seated rows of tables. Och can only recommend the occasion.
Thoroughly enjoyed our evening watching tango, eating Argentine steak & drinking Argentinian red wine! Highly recommend this for an evening, we also paid for transport to & from the venue, this worked well and the driver was punctual.
We went during the week and opted to go to dinner nearby before the show. I was worried it would be cheesy because some people commented that it was very touristy, but it didn't feel touristy and the show and venue is so well worth it. We liked that it felt like a more intimate venue rather than a large theater and there was so much variety to the show that we didn't expect. The folklore and gaucho was my favorite part, but the tango, live band and singers were also spectacular. Our whole family was impressed (and half of them are Argentinians). It felt like a good taste of Argentina culture. A must in my opinion if you're looking for a show rather than a milonga.
The tango show is breathtaking and mixed up with old argentinian songs and performances (guitar sort of, drums and some stones in a kind of bola!). Entré and dessert was good, main course not. Staff was very well organised and efficient
Fantastic Tango performance! Dancers, orchestra, singers all so talented! The dinner was excellent and served in an exquisite manner.
It was one of my best experiences to visit Buenos Aires, thanks to Pablo Fiorilli because not only do I look for the best location, but I helped us with the best photos and tours; after the tango night , he took us on a tour of the cartoon walk and it also became night Mafalda !!! Plus he made sure we got to the hotel well, nice detail. Call Pablo Fiorilli on +5491165449991 he helps them with all inclusive with transport and more tours.
