The five stars are mainly for tour guide Arabi and his driver John. The tour guide is a real plus. The stars are beautiful. It's worth a trip to the stars. But the 4*4 Jeep actually picked up eight people, and the campfire was canceled, as well as the shopping segment. But if you have any questions about stargazing, don't even suggest coming. The rest of it is boring.
We have had a fab time. My kids are young and I was worried they will not enjoy it. They loved it. My son loves his rock collection and was happy to see the surface of the moon. My daughter asked a lot of questions about the moon and Adam answered them all. He was an amazing guide, very tolerant and managed the trip so well. We will certainly do it again with Flash tours and istareg when we come back. The food was amazing and the kids enjoyed the grilled kofta and chicken so much. The salad was amazing to me
After a timely pick-up, the real fun started with a 20 minute fast and bumpy 4x4 drive through the desert. This took us to the village of a Bedouin tribe, to enjoy a welcome tea, before enjoying a (very short) camel ride. Big shoutout to our excellent guide, upper Egypt Bedouin himself, Arabi. He described the Bedouin lifestyle and culture with interesting facts. Later in the evening he shared his very extensive knowledge about the visible stars in the desert night sky. That was after watching a beautiful sunset from higher up, and a simple but nice barbecue dinner back in the village. Would 100% recommend this excursion! Tip: don’t forget a warm jacket or similar, it gets cold once it’s dark
A wonderful day full of emotions! Quad bike and buggy ride suitable for everyone with instructors always present, then across the desert by jeep to arrive in a typical Bedouin village where you can discover their customs and sip good tea! Finally return to base with dinner and show! Highly recommended!
After 7 days by the pool, we were ready to do something more adventurous and cultural. Found this tour and saw how many strong reviews it had and decided to book it. The experience with the Bedouin Tribe was so wonderful and our guide Arabi was a great character, his knowledge and passion for the culture and astronomy really shown through. I loved how he looked after the little girl in the group who only spoke French, making sure she didn’t miss out on a thing. It was lovely hearing the story in French too! It was relaxed, the food was lovely, everything advertised was included and it was fun. A special note: about the toilet in the village which was probably one of the nicest toilets I’ve experienced on holiday!! If you’re going other than summertime, you need to have warm clothes for the evening. I mean warm!! When the sun goes down it gets very cold. Highly recommend! If you’re lucky you’ll get Arab in his crew.
The truth was the most amazing journey in the world I walked down a very nice hill like another world where the stars in the sky were stunning
What an amazing trip! The atmosphere was fantastic & staff very helpful from the beginning to the end. We went with two kids age 16 & 13 and they had a blast! The jeep ride was fun, camel ride was an exotic attraction, food was delicious and entertainment very fantastic. An additional attraction was Star gazing - we were able to look at the stars with the telescope, the talk given by the staff was very interesting & educational. We highly recommend this trip for singles and families with kids.
One of the best experiences I've ever had! The guys are really competent, funny and engaging! Highly recommended!
It was a truly enjoyable experience. We started by traveling from the hotel in a jeep to the meeting point, then continued in the jeep into the desert, arriving at a Bedouin area. We sat down and enjoyed a welcome drink—Bedouin herbal tea—and then rode a camel. Afterward, we watched a Bedouin woman preparing traditional Bedouin bread, and then visited a Bedouin pharmacy to see the natural herbs. Then we went to the top of a mountain and watched the sunset in a truly breathtaking scene. Afterwards, we descended the mountain and went to the Bedouin tent, where we had dinner. The food was truly delicious. Then came the most important part for me: stargazing and seeing Saturn, Jupiter, and the moon through the telescope. We then received a detailed explanation of the sky and how to determine directions. Finally, we returned to the hotel in the Jeep, after an experience that was truly the best.
We were a group of 2 families with kids and all of us had an amazing time. Pick up was right in time and the off roading was adventurous and bumpy. Expected some dune bashing though. At the venue arrival we were briefed about the activities by our guide Ibrahim. Sunset from the point was breathtaking. We met and fed the farm animals. Horses and camels were healthy and we enjoyed our ride with them. Media team took some pictures of the guests. Dinner was alright. Stargazing was the highlight when the lights were switched off and I could only see the blanket of stars and moon shine over us. Ibrahim was wonderful with providing the information about celestial bodies and showed us moon, planets in the telescope and spotted various constellations and their links with the ancient Egyptian beliefs. We all had a great time.
