During our stay in Hurghada from 21 to 28 March 2026, I booked an activity: city tour with a guide speaking French, duration 3 hours. On March 20th, I received a message via whatsapp from a woman named Yasminaa who claims to belong to Tripadvisor. I guess that's who I'm going to be communicating with from now on. To visit the city, she asks for an extra charge of 5 euros per person for a "government tax". Of course, we pay this supplement to the guide at the end of its performance, which in this case went very well. Yasminaa then offers me several excursions that might interest me. I choose 1 day in Cairo, (26/03) so I reserve, with confidence, 320 euros or 80 per person, I pay a deposit of 120 euros via a payment link communicated by Yasminaa I also book the Massage and Spa service, 20 euros / person and again, additional tax of 5 euros for March 25 afternoon. We are also very satisfied with the service and the price is nevertheless super interesting considering the quality of care. always on Wednesday evening, I receive a message from Yasminaa informing me that the trip to Cairo is cancelled and possibly postponed due to problems of severe weather in Cairo. Unable to accept a postponement due to a well-defined schedule, I request a refund of my deposit. She replied that she could not reimburse me and instead offered me several benefits to include my deposit of 120 euros. I refuse but in front of his stubbornness I end up choosing a visit to the Grand Aquarium for 40 euros. After several heated exchanges, the price rises to 30 euros. And again she asks me for an extra 5 euros/person. For information the public price of the aquarium is 30 euros. finally I accept anyway not having too much choice. She then gives us an appointment at 2pm in front of the Aquarium to give us the tickets. We'll finally be able to meet her firsthand. At 2:20, no Yasminaa, I have to ask the teller to contact her, and in fact, she never showed up. At my insistence, a tour operator guide Contacted by Yasminaa and present on site took the places. After several exchanges with Yasminaa, she certified that she did not know this guide. Look for error. In conclusion, I have the feeling that Yasminaa has replaced Tripadvisor to negotiate benefits on-line and, by the way, blame us for those famous government taxes that went directly into her pocket. Proof of this is that Tripadvisor never sent me a message to rate the benefits, except the first one. I contacted Tripadvisor to denounce this, and they opened an investigation. So, in short, if you want to select services, it is better to go through Tripadvisor each time.
Private tour with Hadeer, very smiling who showed us hurghada and its quarters. Coptic church, main mosque, fish market, marina. She ended the visit with a craft shop focusing on Egyptian crafts.

Best afternoon on tour in city , mosque , very relaxed , solo traveling, we did shopping , perfume shops , mosque , visited the marina , I've had beautiful afternoon . Ahmed was amazing highly recommend

We had a great morning with a super nice French guide , I recommend it however it lacks a little extra trick to finish the walk like discovering Egyptian cuisine or something else to finish in style

Excellent way to go sightseeing in Hurghada. Car very comfortable, ture guide very knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. He was able to adjust and adapt tour to my interests and made it very special. Definitely recommend
