This was a very good tour to fill in between cafe hopping and shopping. In 30-minutes we learned a lot with the audio device and on board video. The decor was time warped to the 1970’s and the rooms surprisingly spacious. We were not surprised to learn that the inspections and maintenance requirements are very onerous. It is not cheap living even if you are lucky enough and rich enough to be able to buy a boat. Highly recommend this experience.

Cosy houseboat, trip into the past. Worth knowing about the audio guide. About Video s Interesting things to do around Amsterdam and the canals. The outdoor area with the many flowers are welcoming.

This was honestly a highlight of my weekend in Amsterdam. I really love retro/vontage style so this was such a pleasure to walk into and spend time in. It was great going on a canal cruise beforehand as we'd passed the houseboat and then had the chance to peak inside.
