Satcha, der blev lanceret i marts 2023 og ligger på #256 BBU Road, fungerer som Cambodjas første håndværk inkubationscenter. Det styrker og træner lokale håndværkere gennem intensive flerårige programmer, der kombinerer traditionelle khmerteknikker med moderne design. Området dækker omkring et hektar og omfatter workshops, landskabsgardiner, et showroom og et café – alt sammen bygget med bæredygtige, miljøvenlige materialer som bambus.
Royal Residence (Preăh Réachôdâmnăk) er en kongelig villa bygget i 1904, der tjener som den officielle residens for kongen af Cambodja, når han besøger Siem Reap Det har historisk betydning fra den franske protektorat æra, hvor kong Norodom Sihanouk siges at have planlagt sin uafhængighedskampagne derfra i 1950'erne. Really impactful tour from start to finish. The War Museum and Killing Fields were emotional but very informative and the APOPO Hero Rats visit was something unique and inspiring. We were looking for something to do in Seim Reap that did not involve a temple or ancient ruin. That is exactly what we found we in this highly educational tour about the killing fields and what Cambodia has gone through as a country. It also highlighted the importance of the Appoca organization and their training of rats to find land mines in the country. And some of the artillery that is laying around in Cambodia at the war museum. Make sure to visit the royal palace and gardens to see the tree bats and release a bird to bring good karma for the rest of your trip
