Our entire staff recently attended the Wailua Nui Lūʻau, and we had such a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted with fresh flower lei and genuine aloha from the friendly staff. The beautiful oceanfront setting, surrounded by coconut trees and illuminated beneath the evening sky, created the perfect atmosphere. The pre-show activities, such as lei-making, were fun and interactive, while the live Hawaiian music added a special touch to the evening. The traditional underground imu ceremony was a wonderful cultural experience, and the buffet featured a delicious variety of local favorites, with something for everyone to enjoy. The authentic performances and storytelling were truly entertaining, taking us on a journey through Hawaiʻi, Tahiti, Tonga, and Samoa. The performers were talented and engaging, the costumes were vibrant, and the emcee did a wonderful job explaining the cultural significance behind the different dances. The fire-knife performance was an exciting way to end the evening! Our team had an amazing time together, and the entire experience was filled with warmth, culture, and aloha. We highly recommend Wailua Nui Lūʻau to visitors, families, friends, and local groups looking for a memorable evening on Kauaʻi. Everything about this luau is top notch, from the food and beverages provided to the amazingly talented performers. The support staff were incredible as well. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone!

One of the best luau's in the entire country it was amazing and the experience and the culture and the food was divine. The drinks are complementary and the blue Hawaiian and the mai ties are fantastic. I will never forget this and the food again was Divine to see The roaster pig come out of the ground was amazing and extra delicious

It was awesome. Great location in the back of the hilton overlooking lydgate beach. The staff were great. My daughter and I loved the food. Great musicians.....Great talking story....Great hula.....and the fire dancer, he did an incredible job. I highly recommend this luau!!

This was by far the best luau I have ever been to! The food was amazing, the traditional storytelling with dancing was great, and the musicians were very skilled (coming from a musician myself). I particularly impressed by their award winning fire dancer. Highly recommend going if you’re in town.

Wailua Nui Luau delivered an unforgettable evening from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and the setting couldn’t have been more magical — open air with a stunning ocean view and the most refreshing cool breezes rolling in all night. Our host set the perfect tone — warm, funny, and genuinely engaging — and the storytelling about the history and culture of the area added real depth to the experience. The dancers were top notch, and the fire knife dancing was jaw-dropping. We especially loved seeing the different Polynesian cultures represented throughout the show. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating all evening. And the kids? They were absolutely in their element at the lei making and temporary Polynesian tattoo stations — those interactive touches made it special for the whole family. If you’re visiting Kauaʻi, this is a must-do.
