It was very hot but a wonderful day. Our guide was knowledgeable, entertaining and friendly. She kept us together and noticed when a short break was needed or a spot of shade would be helpful! We had an age range of 19 to 70 and she did a good job of keeping everyone going and answering all our questions. There was quick a bit of walking and stairs but I found it doable

We were very happy with our guide, unfortunately, we did not catch her name. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and we appreciated that it was a long guided tour at the Vatican Museum. However, we felt that the tour description was misleading — there was no indication that the guide would not be able to go with us into the Sistine Chapel because talking is not allowed, so it would have been helpful to indicate that in the tour description. What’s also misleading is that the tour says “optional Basilica”, but what that really meant was that we would have to go there on our own without a guide and that there’s no skip-the-line for that.

Regarding the Sistine Chapel, we would like to clarify that guides are not permitted to speak inside the chapel due to the Vatican's rules. As the Sistine Chapel is a place of worship, silence must be observed by all visitors. For this reason, our guides provide a detailed explanation before entering so that guests know what to look for and can fully appreciate Michelangelo's masterpiece while inside. Regarding St. Peter's Basilica, please note that the title displayed online is a general title used for all of our Vatican tour options. Guided access to the Basilica is included only with selected tours departing between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM (excluding Wednesdays) and is always subject to availability based on Vatican regulations and operational restrictions. If you would still like to visit St. Peter's Basilica, you are welcome to do so independently. We did our tour with Elena. It was good but a little disappointing. We could not hear Elena properly through our headphones supplied to us. I did mention this to her but she advised there was not much she could do about it. She did try moving her microphone to her other side but that was all. I noticed other groups the guide was holding the microphone to their mouth. This would have been a better approach. Combined with her strong accent and rushed talking it was very hard to understand and hear her at all. Elena also moved quickly through the large crowds and then was annoyed that we were not keeping up. We had a 9yr old child with us and a lady on crutches (not part of our family) so we needed time to catch up. It seemed by the end of the tour she was quite grumpy with us. Elena was very imformative, when you could hear what she was saying, but most of our group removed their headphone from their ears as it was pointless.

I loved my toured with EcoArt. The meet up was super easy. My guide Monica was so knowledgeable and pointed out lots of symbolism to look out for as we moved through the museum. The tour was well worth the money. I did the 10 person group but got lucky that some people didn't show up but that made the experience even better with an even smaller group. Tour guide was very knowledgable which made the experience even better.

It’s a good tour with a lot of walking but definitely a must see in Rome! Marcello was a great guide and was very knowledgeable! He kept us all together despite there being so many other visitors that day and explained everything to us in great detail. I highly recommend the skip the line tour as it got us inside with only a short wait!
