A very enriching tour of the world of wine. An interesting, funny, and invested guide. A must-do
Superb day with an incredible guide!
Beautiful wine discoveries and restaurants never visited, friendly and convivial. Frédérique our guide was perfect.
Fred was friendly, engaging, helpful and an all round excellent tour guide. The tour surpassed our expectations! The wine we tasted was delicious, the venues were lovely, the food delicious and we even made friends! We couldn’t recommend this tour enough and shall do if we have any friends coming to Montréal! We particularly liked how Fred took the time to write down recommendations for us on a leaflet we could take home after the tour.
If you’re a foodie and curious about Montreal’s local scene, this tour is a must. To be clear, no one is going to confuse it with Napa Valley—but hey, this is Montreal, and that’s exactly what makes it fun. The wines were interesting, but the small bites paired with them were the real stars—everything was delicious. I might describe it as more of a food-and-wine walking tour, but either way, it was a great experience. Our guide, Fred, was fantastic. They seemed to know every owner and bartender along the way, which made the whole tour feel personal, relaxed, and genuinely local. A really enjoyable way to spend an afternoon in Montreal!
Great tour led by Fred. Good wines, good food, good places. Special mention for the tasting in the park
This tour exceeded our expectations! It was so much more than just a wine tour. It was a wonderful mix of Montreal history, local culture, hidden gems, fantastic wine, and delicious snacks. Fred was an amazing guide who was warm, knowledgeable, and engaging, and she made the entire experience fun from start to finish. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and we highly recommend it!
What a wi detail tour! It was fun to learn about the ladies influencing the montreal wine scene. Visit some local watering holes and taste local wines and wines from all over. It was the perfect amount of walking and sitting. Our guide Fred was fun, sweet and a great story teller. Absolutely loved it!
What a great tour - perfect way to wander around Montreal. Not only tasting some delicious wines and some tasty bites to eat, but bonus mural and cool buildings on our walk. Our guide Fred was amazing with great stories about the wine and people involved and where we were in Montreal. Made everyone feel welcome and taken care of.
This wine bar hop has been great. All the stories of the ladies behind the industry companies, wine bars and the fresh and crisp summer wines! The walks in between are always a must in our food tours too. Check it out next time, the Beyond the Market food tour! Thx ☺️
It was an afternoon wander through Le Plateau tasting lesser known, but intriguing delicious wines: whites, roses, and a red. Led by a native Montrealer, Fred, the history of the wine industry in the city and, how today, women are instrumental in the burgeoning business of natural wines was discussed. It is a tour worth taking.
So great to share these ladies stories, their products and businesses and of course the funky wines. Glad you had a good time, thanks for supporting a local business that aims to do the same!
