Vores East Village-tur begynder ved en af New Yorks donut-institutioner, Donut Pub. Donut Pub har eksisteret i over 50 år og har nogle af de bedste donuts i New York City. Vi vil fremvise nogle af deres mest berømte smagsvarianter, og du vil komme til at prøve mange af dem. Herfra tager vi en tur gennem de dejlige kvarterer, højhuse, parker og vartegn, som præger East Village og gør det til et af New Yorks mest ikoniske kvarterer. Ved vores næste stop vil vi prøve nogle klassiske italienske Bomboloni, som du vil sværge kom lige fra det gamle land. Hvis du aldrig har haft bomboloni, er du klar til en godbid! Herfra vil vi fremhæve nogle af musikhistorien og ikonerne i det omkringliggende kvarter, inklusive CBGB og Bowery Electric, en vej til vores tredje stop. Her vil vi fremhæve deres karakteristiske kardemommeboller, som for nylig var en viral sensation på TikTok. Vi begynder vores tur her og fremhæver de fantastiske donuts, vi synes, du bør prøve, samt historien omkring The Donut Pub.
Vi taler om Astor Place og dets betydning for kvarterets historie sammen med de omkringliggende bygninger, teatre og skulpturer i området.
Vi går gennem Bowery Street og taler om dens betydning for East Village sammen med de forskellige musikteatre, der plejede at pryde nabolaget (CBGB'er og andre).

Petit Chou er et fransk inspireret bageri med særligt fokus på choux wienerbrød. Choux wienerbrød er basisdejen til alle eclairs, cremebrød og profiteroles. Missy was fantastic! She reached out in advance to let us know that we were the only two people on the tour and once we got started it was truly an experience of our own making! As always it’s a great experience to see the city and also get to try different donuts and pastries of the city. Can’t wait for my next donut tour with the team!

This was a great tour for people interested in music and theatre history. My 14 year old wasn’t as interested in that part:)
Thank you for rolling with us in the East Village. We try to stuff the donuts with fun facts that appeal to everyone but we know teens are a hard sell! We hope to earn that final star on a future tour.

This was a great tour and much more than donuts. The history of the East Village and the incredible knowledge of our Guide Rob was impressive. Rob gave us a detailed story of the area that we have always bypassed when in NYC. We have a new appreciation for the village and loved the treats as well! If you get the opportunity to hang with Rob eating donuts and learning...go for it!
