På denne lille gruppe tur, tage på en rejse gennem den vildere, sparsere sydlige Cotswolds. Beundre udsigten over landskabet, opdage 'royal' Tetbury, og gå tilbage i tiden i lille Castle Combe. Du vil udforske den fantastiske World Heritage City of Bath, også! Efter at have hentet vores gæster fra Stratford-upon-Avon (08.50) eller Moreton-in-Marsh (09.30), rejser vi til Tetbury. Denne lille, smukke og typisk Cotswold markedsby er kendt for sine maleriske gader, historiske markedshal og stor shopping - især hvis du er til antikviteter. Kong Charles 3. bor på den nærliggende Highgrove Estate! Fra Tetbury, det går på til UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath. Først vil vi lave et hurtigt foto stop på den ikoniske Royal Crescent. Derefter vil vi droppe dig i centrum af Bath for 2 timer 45 minutter fri tid til at udforske med kort, vi vil give. Tag frokost på farten, så du kan se så meget som muligt! Til sidst, udforske idylliske Castle Combe, konsekvent rangeret som "den smukkeste landsby i England"!

Shakespeare's Birthplace Coach Terminal i Stratford-upon-Avon er den første af vores to pick up points. Hvis du vælger vores afhentningspunkt i Stratford-upon-Avon, mødes vi her kl. 08.45, klar til afgang kl. 08.50.
En 30 minutters rejse gennem den smukke Warwickshire Cotswolds landskab bringer os til Moreton-in-Marsh, den anden af vores pick up points. Hvis du vælger vores Moreton-in-Marsh afhentningssted, skal du vente i parkeringspladsen uden for billetkontoret på Moreton-in-Marsh jernbanestation. Turen afgår, og officielt begynder, her kl. 9.30.
Efter en dejlig 45 minutters tur fra Moreton-in-Marsh ankommer vi til den sydlige Cotswold-markedstaden Tetbury - et smukt og historisk must-see-sted. Tetburys maleriske gader omfatter de maleriske 'Chipping Steps' og er hjemsted for talrige uafhængige butikker, caféer, te-rum og - især - antikviteter! Fans af den britiske kongelige familie er i for en fornøjelse her - King Charles og dronning Camilla live på Tetbury's Highgrove Estate! En Highgrove ejendom butik er her for alle dine kongelige souvenirs!
Efter en dejlig 45-minutters tur fra Tetbury ankommer vi til den smukke by Bath. Først vil vi lave et hurtigt foto stop ved den fotogene Royal Crescent. Denne imponerende kurvede terrasse betragtes som det fineste eksempel på georgisk arkitektur i landet! Fans af Jane Austen og Bridgerton vil glæde sig, da The Royal Crescent er et populært filmsted for georgisk periode tv og film værker.
En 15 minutters tur fra Royal Crescent bringer os til centrum af Bath. Denne utroligt smukke by er en UNESCO World Heritage Site! Du vil have omkring 2 timer og 45 minutter fri tid til at udforske her, med kort vi leverer. Du vil ikke have tid til at gøre alt, hvad Bath har at tilbyde, men besøg i de berømte romerske bade, Bath Abbey og Jane Austen Centre er højt på mange besøgendes to-do-lister! Glem ikke at shoppe for souvenirs og tage lidt frokost også!
Forlader Bath, det er en 35 minutters rejse til vores sidste stop: den idylliske landsby Castle Combe, gentagne gange stemt "den smukkeste landsby i England". Få disse Instagram-værdige billeder på den maleriske bro, men glem ikke at se det med dine egne øjne også! En tur gennem lille Castle Combe føles som at træde tilbage i tiden.
Det tager omkring 1 time og 30 minutter at køre fra Castle Combe tilbage til Moreton-in-Marsh station, så sæt dig tilbage, slap af og nyd den smukke Cotswolds landskab, som det ruller forbi. Vi vender tilbage til Moreton-in-Marsh omkring 18:00.
En sidste 30 minutters kørsel bringer os tilbage til Stratford-upon-Avon, hvor vi siger farvel til vores resterende passagerer. Afgangstiden her er omkring 6.30pm. Vi håber, du havde en vidunderlig dag udforsker Bath og den sydlige Cotswolds med os!

Go Cotswolds is an award winning tour company for good reason. The admin staff were so helpful as we planned our visit, and both Sue and Lisa were very patient with my endless questions. Our tour group was smaller than usual and we enjoyed our new friends (especially the 2nd Jessica, added to our merry group of Lori’s and Jessica’s!) Our guide was knowledgeable and made the driving time between towns interesting. I felt like I had all the time I wanted in Castle Combe but could have easily spend another hour in Tetbury. We left the tour in Bath and continued on to London but our time there, and the helpful recommendations from our guide, made Bath memorable. I highly recommend Go Cotswolds to anyone looking to spend time in this beautiful area!

This is actually the second of three reviews for our three tours of the Cotswolds with gocotswolds . Our tour guide Elaine did a wonderful job of educating us about the history of the Cotswolds and exactly how it came to be. She was loaded with facts and tips about each stop and was very friendly. We did all three tours with Go Cotswolds, Secret. day in the Cotswolds and this one, all three were very enjoyable and well organized. Tour guides were knowledgeable and fun and took great care of us and gave us suggestions on what to do in our free time. It's a nice way to see the area and leaving the driving and parking to them.

This was our 2nd Tour with Go Cotswolds . Wendy, was our driver/tour guide. She did an excellent job of getting around the Cotswolds area on a beautiful sunny Sunday day. The villages we visited were very busy, but thankfully with our 16 passenger van, Wendy was able to find parking to drop us off so we could explore on our own. This is the beauty of Go Cotswolds tours. The guides provide the history of the villages you are going to visit for the day as you drive along. Then when you get to the villages you are on your own to explore, eat, etc. it is the best of both worlds. I highly recommend that you book as many tours with Go Cotswolds as your time allows. It’s the only way to see the Cotswolds! We booked all three tours that they offered in the Spring!

The tour was perfectly well organised. The timing was good. Martin gave us a lot of information and he was fun. I liked a lot the tour. We started at 9h30 from Moreton and got back there around 18h, so all day long but we got to know many places. We were a small group (11 people) and all of them were fun and puntual. The cost of the tour is adequate. I did it alone, but I think this tour is great for families (in fact there was a couple with a little girl) or even for couples and groups of friends up to 15 maybe.

We had such a wonderful time doing the Bath and Southern Cotswolds tour with Go Cotswolds! I had a great time on this tour with Martin as our guide! Martin was very personable and entertaining as he took us through the last 2,000 years of English history while we drove to each stop. We had plenty of exploration time in each area and Martin was always there to welcome us back. It's very clear he prioritizes the safety and experience of everyone onboard. This company and the guides have really gone above and beyond for each excursion. I would love to come back with my husband and share these tours with him. Genuinely enjoyed my time and consider it very well spent.

Jason was excellent about the area. In my opinion too much time was allowed in Bath. Perhaps other quaint villages could have been included.
