Efter en kort tur på 10 minutter når den den lille havn Nea Kameni, hvor den aktive vulkan er. Din tid der er for omkring 1 time og 15 minutter, hvor du kan gå op og besøge dette vilde landskab med de forskellige vulkanske sten og de aktive kratere af vulkanen, hvor der stadig er røg kommer ud og kraftigt lugter svovl. For at fortsætte, vil båden tage af sted til øen Palaia Kameni, hvor de varme kilder er placeret. Inde i den lille bugt af Agios Nikolaos vandtemperaturen er 30 - 35 grader Celsius, men det konstant blandes med havvand. Båden opholder sig i ca. 30 minutter, nok tid, da der ikke er nogen strand, men du skal klatre ned ad en stige af båden ind i havet og svømme en afstand på ca. 30 meter til det indre af den lille bugt, hvor mudderbadene er.
Efter at have svømmet ved de varme kilder vil båden starte et sejl rundt om calderaen, hvor du kan tage storslåede billeder af landskabet og husene, der bogstaveligt talt hænger på kanten af klippen, i kombination med solnedgangens smukke farver. På en træbåd med sejl, lytter til dejlig musik og nyder et glas lokal vin. Efter solnedgangen vender båden tilbage til den gamle havn i Fira.

We had a great time on our sunset Santorini caldera cruise! The guided tour to the volcano was incredibly informative, and swimming in the hot springs was such a unique experience. Our guide, Konstantinos, was excellent and provided fantastic information throughout the whole cruise.He was exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond to make the trip special, even playing some music and singing for us during the sunset. It made the entire experience so much more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

This was the best cruise excursion experience I have ever had. The tour guide is very professional, and the whole itinerary is well organized. We had a great time enjoying the volcano island hiking, hot spring swimming, and the astonishing sunset on the boat! Definitely recommended!

The tour included a visit to the volcano island with a guided hike to the calderas if you wanted to participate, followed by a visit to the hot springs/mud baths on the island of Palea Kameni and then a stop for relaxing/food/drinks on the island of Thirasia before sailing slowly along the coast of Santorini between Oia and Fira finishing with a wonderful view of the sunset from the water. Be aware that the tour goes from the old port of Fira (as most of these types of tours do) which means you either have to hike down and up nearly 600 steps or pay €10 pp each way for either a donkey or cable car ride to get to/from the port area - this can considerably increase the total cost unless you opt for the walk. The only slight issue we found was locating the tour departure point/office once we reached the old port - we had allowed ourselves a good amount of time so this did not cause a problem but better detail on where to go within the old port would have been helpful.

Organised and well paced, excellent guide. Highlight for me was the hot spring swim! Bring dark coloured swim wear as the hot spring water is coloured and stains light coloured clothes. Value for money!

Excellent trip. Our guide was friendly, fun and informative. The hike up the volcano was worth it for the views. A nice restaurant at Thirassa and serenaded at sunset. Marvellous!

Very complete experience, we really enjoyed our trip around the Caldera, visiting the volcano in Nea Kameni and thermal waters near Palia Kameni, as well as even have some wind down time to explore and grab a drink in Thirasia before catching the sunset. Our tour guide, Kostas (Konstantínos) was phenomenal, very friendly and approachable and he even played some music and sang as we were watching the sunset. We had a great time and would recommend this cruise to anybody visiting Santorini.
