Elijah was our guide and he was quite knowledgeable about the animals and their habitats. He also was a very good driver. Taita Holls Resort was a pleasant surprise. Clean, friendly staff, decent buffet restaurant. The landscaping, outdoor areas and the large infinity pool were especially nice. The safari itself was solid - saw lion cubs and their mamas, a giraffe, zebras and lots of other types of antelopes. Lots of baboons, too. Sadly no elephants were spotted, but that was because of the rain. We participated in the night safari but unfortunately didn’t see any large animals, only snakes, a hare and a mongoose. I would recommend this tour and suggest that you talk with the guide about what you want to do and see. They can be flexible and give you good advice.

It is a pleasure to read that your safari was solid, Elijah the good driver/guide was quite knowledgeable about the animals and their habitats, saw lots of animals including mama lion and cubs, giraffe, zebras, different antelopes, baboons, unfortunately unspotted elephant due to the rain. participated on the night game drive but due to rain they had sheltered. Nico took care of us from the get go. Navigating the Port of Mombasa was tricky on foot, but it helped to know he was right there waiting for us. Nico was a great driver, and made every effort to find us lions, elephants, giraffes and so much more—even some great Kenyan coffee to take home. We are grateful for this amazing experience.
