David was our tour guide for the day and he was such a wonderful experience. His knowledge and ability to deliver the history of the town and the region/state was fun And entertaining, not a single dull moment. He was able to answer all our questions and curiosity about Charleston and their denizens.
David’s tour was an excellent way to start our visit to Charleston! We learned so much about the city’s history, architecture, culture, and food. His stories made the city come alive and helped us to better understand everything else we saw during our visit. Highly recommended!
David was the highlight of our trip. My brother and I took his 2 hour walking tour around Charleston and had the best time. He is very personable, genuine and knowledgable about Charleston’s extensive history. He took care of us along the way, with occasional rest stops to discuss the sights and take a breather. Big fans of Charleston and even bigger fans of David.

Our guide, David, was very knowledgeable about the history of Charleston and made it fun for the four of us. The two hours passed by quickly. He was very entertaining and personable. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour and guide.
My wife, son, and I had an incredible experience learning about the history of Charleston. Our guide David knew his stuff and took us too see not just the well known sites, but also some of the hidden gems that only a local would know. He even managed to keep our 7 year old engaged for two hours!
David is the best tour guide we could have asked for. He gave us a truly informed and compelling view of Charleston on our two-hour tour and we all left our excursion with a full roster of interesting insights and things to think about. David is funny, interesting and empathetic and was terrific at managing the different personalities in our group of women. I loved his depth and the respect he showed for the history of the city. 10/10, highly recommend!
David has an incredible wealth of knowledge regarding the history of Charleston. He has an upbeat personality and an easy and relaxed way of storytelling that doesn’t feel like you’re in a lecture!
