Tag med os på et uforglemmeligt afteneventyr for at være vidne til en af Madeiras mest betagende solnedgang fra højden af Pico do Arieiro. Vi starter med at afhente dig fra dit ophold i Funchal, Caniço eller Câmara de Lobos (city center) Derefter fortsætter turen til den majestætiske Pico do Arieiro, Madeiras tredje højeste bjerg. Her vil du opleve en del af den berømte PR1 sti, (selvguidet) gå omkring 1,2 km hver vej (1t30m), der fører dig til den utrolige Ninho da Manta Viewpoint og den berømte "trappe til himlen". Når dagen slutter, forbered dig på at blive forbløffet over solnedgangens farver, der maler himlen og bjergene i gyldne toner. Efter at have drukket i dette magiske øjeblik i ca. 30 minutter, vil vi komfortabelt returnere dig til det nærmeste punkt i dit ophold. En aften du aldrig vil glemme – deltag i denne unikke solnedgang! Vi vil informere dig om den nøjagtige afhentningstid dagen før, og holde dig opdateret via WhatsApp.

Vi starter med at afhente dig fra dit ophold i Funchal, Caniço eller Câmara de Lobos (byens centrum). Derfra tager vi til den betagende Pico do Arieiro, hvor dramatiske bjergtoppe stiger over skyerne.
At træde ud på Pico do Arieiro føles som at træde ind i en anden verden - høje ridge, endeløse dale og det stadigt skiftende spil af lys og skygge skaber et syn, du vil bære med dig længe efter turen slutter
Dit eventyr fortsætter med en naturskøn vandretur til udsigtspunktet Ninho da Manta, hvor den omfattende udsigt afslører den rå skønhed i Madeiras centrale bjerge. På ruten krydser du den ikoniske "trappe til himlen", et perfekt billedsted, hvor horisonten blander sig sømløst med himlen.
Tilbage til Pico do Arieiro vil du bosætte dig for at se en af de mest betagende solnedgange på øen. Bjergene falmer til bløde silhuetter, mens solen langsomt synker ud over horisonten og himlen eksploderer i farver, et syn du vil huske for evigt.

Pick ups omkring 18:00 (maj/juni). Pick ups kun fra Funchal og Caniço. Vi afhenter dig direkte fra dit hotel eller din bolig. Bare lad os vide din placering.

Great time with our comedian tour guide! Very informative, great views, and fun time. The hike itself had lots of steps but has many options to go out as far as you want. The views were exceptional.
Efficient and easy way to do the hike. Pick up time was communicated via WhatsApp beforehand. Sunset was a great time to do the hike, I had some parts of it all to myself. I didn’t think the hike itself was hard. Guide gave full instructions and you can’t get lost.
Sadly we couldn’t go to the peak as the weather was too wet and foggy, Luís however put on a great alternative where we followed the sunset along the coast and took in some incredible sights. Did feel a little rushed… maybe less places but more time BUT I do appreciate he was slightly winging it due to the last minute change of your. It’s just means I have to come back to Madeira to do the full tour. Davide was great, loved chatting to him about his music. Gutted to have missed the stairway to heaven but can’t be helped
Fantastic experience, best money spent on our holiday so far!! Great value for money. Luís our guide was brilliant! Friendly and chat making the small group feel at ease. Excellent English, and other languages spoken. Knowledgable. Pick up was punctual. Drive to destination felt safe. Information was spot on. Small group. Sunset PR1. Great time to go, not over crowded.
This was the most magical experience - it was so beautiful, I got emotional ❤️ It started off foggy with poor visibility (even so, it was still amazing) then after about an hour the fog just parted and the views were unreal!
Unfortunately due to bad weather on the mountains the originally trip could not take place, instead an alternative tour of the South West of the island culminating in a sunset viewing was offered and accepted. Informative and friendly guide and a pleasant end to another sunny day on Madeira.
We were meant to be going into the mountains but were offered an alternative route because of fog. It was great! We stopped at various viewpoints along the SW coast and ended seeing sunset at a beautiful spot. Our driver Davide was lovely, chatty and polite. It was a great trip.
This was a good time, the driver was a hoot and the people were very friendly. I will say if you are out of shape, do not go all the way getting back was brutal as it is all up hill/steps but I got some great photos. I was sore the next day though….
Great experience and small group of people. Very smooth experience with a great driver, with good humour. Would definitely recommend if you want to see the stairway of heaven. This section is roughly around 2.5km return but definitely steep up and downs to feel like you’ve have a hiking experience.
Very beautiful experience and very beautiful excursion! Our guide Luís was great and made our time magical from the pickup at the apartment until the return, this gentleman is very good at making the moment even better!
