Hvorfor ikke kombinere vores to mest populære ture i en? Se seværdighederne i den historiske havneby Halifax og tag derefter de berømte betagende seværdigheder i Peggy's Cove ind. Vores tur skulle begynde fra Pier 21 med sin historiske blok som "Ellis Island" i Canada, hvor mere end en million indvandrere kom igennem og mere end 500.000 tilbage fra under WWII. Derfra besøger vi St. Paul's Church, den ældste anglikanske kirke i Canada. Paul Pauls kirke var også blandt nogle af bygningerne, der modståede den store Halifax-eksplosion i 1917. Vi kører videre til Fort Needham Hill, hvor der blev bygget en mindesmærke for ofrene for denne eksplosion. Så skal vi videre til Canadas mest berømte fyrtårn. Peggy's Cove er en af de mest unikke, fængslende og spændende øjenåbnere i Nova Scotia. De maleriske landsbyer ved Shad Bay, Big Lake, East Dover og West Dover, for blot at nævne nogle få, er også betagende.

We enjoyed Jonathan very much. We saw so much in such a short time. He took such good care of us. He always dropped us off close to the venue and was waiting for us when we were done. He found a special spot for lunch that locals know. We had a great day.

This tour is quite long, but it's absolutely worth it. You'll receive a wealth of information about Nova Scotian history while visiting iconic destinations such as Peggy's Cove, Halifax, Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, and more. The stops are relatively short, so if you're hoping to browse local shops or spend a lot of time exploring, be aware that your time will be limited. That said, each stop offers beautiful scenery and plenty of opportunities to take memorable photos. One recommendation: treat yourself to some ice cream while you're in Lunenburg, you won't regret it!

Jonathan did a wonderful job as our guide. I feel like it would’ve been easy for them to cancel the tour because my husband and I were the ones booked. We are very grateful it wasn’t cancelled. Jonathan was extremely knowledgeable about the area. He also has a good sense of humor. We really enjoyed the outing.

That the tour guide Jonathan is very accommodating, extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very humble. He goes to all ends to make sure everyone has a good time. I was with My 83-year-old Dad who he made sure was always good. It was a cold day, and he made sure he was staying warm. When returning to the pier it was a very long line and he offered to wait in line for us so we could stay warm in Van. We declined but he still stayed with us to make sure. We loved this tour and we highly recommend booking especially if on a cruise ship. They are aware of the time, and you get close pier pick up and drop off.

We had a great time. Loved the tour and the sites in Halifax. The lighthouse was amazing. Our guide was nice and informative.
One of the only tours we did while in Halifax and we are glad we didn't skip. The views from the cove were breathtaking though was scared to venture off too close to the water as the waves were crashing non-stop. Our guide, Mamie, was beyond enthusiastic and really seemed to love her job and sharing her history with the passengers. We also enjoyed the jokes made along the drive from Jonathan - we had a wonderful time and the only thing we'd change is possibly going when it's a bit warmer. I guess we will have to return one summer!

Our guide Jonathan was amazing! He took great care of us from start to finish. Very informative (and fun) dialogue. We loved all the stops, especially Peggy’s Cove-so charming!
