I went with a friend on a Fjords cruise that had to divert to Oslo due to adverse weather. We arrived in Oslo on Bank Holiday Monday and everything was closed, so we decided to go on the Hop-on Bus. We were asked by the salesman if we were together and we said yes, but we wanted to pay separately. He said ok and asked my friend to tap her card and gave her a ticket. He then turned to me and asked me to do the same. I had a travel money card but it wouldn't work, so I had to use my bank account. As we moved away I looked at my ticket and realised, my travel card wouldn't work because he had charged both of us 1000kr - double the ticket price. He apologised and said he had made a mistake but didn't know how to refund us. He had to make a phone call and we were told it would all be sorted and we would be refunded before we returned home. That didn't happen. I emailed them and they asked me to fill in a claim form and photo of the ticket, which I did. They confirmed receipt and said refund would be within 15 days. I emailed them again - no reply. I decided to re-send the claim form and ticket. Again I was told 15 days but still no refund. I finally sent a fourth email last week, and I am still waiting for a refund and a courtesy reply. I have told them that what they have done, having been told 4 times they owe me the money, is theft, but they clearly do not care. Norway is one of the most expensive places. They charged me £86 for what was supposed to be a one and a half hour trip. It didn't last that long and all the headphones on the bus didn't work, so an absolute waste of time. In desperation, I thought I would ring Hop-on in London to see if they could help. Their website says call us, we are ready to take your call. No they aren't. They will only take your call if you are booking a trip!! I was told I couldn't speak to customer services, and that I needed to email them. When I explained why I wanted to speak to someone, they just reiterated that they wouldn't speak to me, all I could do was email. What a farce. Over two months down the line and I have had nothing back. This company is an total disgrace. Catch a local bus and give these a miss!

My mom enjoys these busses when we travel to a new city. This one has only one route and a quarter of the stops are the cruise ship docks. Most of these busses typically have very interesting commentary but this one had a lot of dead air. The voice is a man's who apologized for their pronunciation because he is still learning English as it is powered by AI. What happened to the real people who recorded info? It's way better than whatever this was. The bus stops are also not marked like in other big cities. We just rode it around once and did not hop on/off.

It starts and finish at the cruise port in Oslo. It's a wonderful way of getting around the city and seeing the attractions. The audio was just so-so. But overall, we would do it again. Always ENJOY these bus tours!!

The ride itself went well. The audio was too loud in terms of background music. The seats were okay, but they advertise for 24 hours and we started at 11:00 but when we wanted to take a bus back at 6:05 it turned out that it has already stopped. Moderately as short the time as it says tickets for 24 hours! We're feeling a little cheated.

We were unable to take this tour for a couple of reasons: we were never able to download a map to determine the best place to find the bus. After walking around the entire Oslo station we found a hop on hop off bus station, only to find out it was the competition with the same name! By this time it was too late for us and we had to head back to the airport to catch our flight. We tried to ask for a refund but were declined. They were Not very organized and didn’t ever acknowledge that there are two companies running hop on hop off bus tours. We were not able to download a map to find our way. Disappointing!!!

Waste of my money and time.... Did nothing. The bus broke down. Such a shame this

After selling us our 2 tickets for $105 US in front fo the bus. He then told us that wasn’t the bus we would take. This was for display at cruise ship terminal. Our bus was 30 minutes away. The stops are poorly marked and the bus was jam packed. We ended up not being able to find the next stop (after hopping off) So one little segment for $105 and ended up taking a $50 Uber back to the ship. What a waste of money.

Joined first bus of the day from Stop 1 at 10:00, realising last bus departing 16:00 so short period to make use of the HOHO feature to visit three of the main attractions alo g the route. Pick up times reasonably accurate, but was a Sunday with light traffic! Audio and commentary poor and not a particularly exciting route, involving long tunnel and around the cruise ship docks. Not the best value for money.

Our experience with this company was excellent. They consistently strive to be punctual and provide high-quality service. Their staff is always very friendly, and we would like to specifically commend Aldofo. We greatly appreciated his assistance when we had questions; he was readily available to help us immediately. We were in Oslo, Norway when we first encountered Aldofo, one staff in that city. He helped as soon we had questions about how to get to our hotel. He educated us on how the Hop-on-Hop-off bus works and gave us practical tips on how to use the system. We are very grateful for the use of the Hop-on-Hop-off bus service for our city tours. It makes navigating the city much easier, especially when visiting various attractions. Your service is truly helpful in getting us to these places. Thank you very much for your services.
