Great experience. Worth getting up at midnight for the drive to Ubud. Our guide Jerry was exceptional and heaps of fun. Highly recommend
Had an awesome time with our driver, Ageng, and our travel guide, Wira, who were both extremely kind, welcoming and generous with our trip up the volcano! Definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Bali!
Komang was really great, he showed us a lot of beautiful things and took great pictures of us. Thanks to him, he is the best. Very recommended.

It was an incredible experience, for sure, even if the weather wasn’t on our advantage. It was foggy, it could happen. But you shouldn’t miss it if you’re in Bali, because when could you tell that you hiked an active voulcano. The guide and the driver was kind too, I would recomend them. They know the area, where are they going. However, my fav memory is drinking tea and talking with the local people in that small house on the top of the mountin, it felt so special.

We had a great time. The pickup service was very nice and our guide Kuas was great. He taught us about the area, showed us the geothermal vents, and took lots of pictures of us. The hike was not too hard and was very short. Sunrise was beautiful and we got to eat breakfast at the top
Everything else was great except for pickup. When I made the booking I had to enter the name of my resort and was advised pickup time was 1:30. I waited until 1:50 when I called and texted the Whatsapp phone number on the operator’s website contact section, but no answer, no reply. It wasn’t until 2:10 when I received an email saying the pickup time was meant to be 2:30 because my resort was much closer to Mt Batur compared to others travelling from south Bali. The operator was apologetic in the email, however the driver sent me a message at 2:20 saying he would arrive at 2:50. He eventually came but I had waited for 1 hour 20 min which is a long time especially in the small hours of the day when I could’ve slept more instead. It seems the operator fails to check where the pickup points are and advise customized pickup times in advance. The rest of the tour was awesome though, the guide Kadek was excellent and the drive Made was friendly. The view from the top was well worth the deprived sleep.
