Little bit of a bait and switch scenario. They DO pick you up at your hotel, but in a fairly standard Toyota suv. You’ll ride in the SUV for about an hour until you get to a parking lot in Son Tra. From there you’ll transfer into the back seat of a jeep. Friendly guide will ride up front and half explain things and will act interested in order to get information from you on your trip. Pretty much a normal S.E. Asia game of “how knowable is this person to scams, and what other side deals can I get out of them?” Don’t particularly like it, but I understand the cost of doing business in this part of the world, I respect the hustle. Just know that you’ll be tried. Monkey mountain isn’t really a big sight to see unless you’re interested in obscure VN War Military History, and are trying to see it for yourself. Which if you are, is FANTASTIC! Lady Buddha is honestly a good sight, and you’ll probably spend 30-45 minutes or so there. Guides do a great job here. If you take the trip in the afternoon, this is where they get you. You’ll arrive at Marble Mountain just as they close. “Oh it’s traffic, so sorry!” It wasn’t, but that’s fine I’ll play their game. At this stage, I am completely ok with the trip being over, quite happy with everything. Now the turn. “Oh mountain is closed, but we visit this place where the family has been carving marble forever.” It’s a store, an astronomically overpriced marble store. The owner walks you around trying to get you to buy something as the workers pretend to be closing up. They’ll emphasize they accept credit cards and can ship. Then they’ll get indignant and insulting when you say you have no interest in buying something from a shop you never intended to enter. The remainder of the ride will be the guide hassling you to use them for other tours, experiences, and “good deals” on transportation. You end the trip by paying them to leave you alone. Started as a 3 star trip, elevated to 5, and ended as a run of the mill 1 star scam. Truly disappointed
Thanks for your review. Sorry for the unexpected experience, just skip disliked part and move on. Marble moutains was still open for visiting by walking steps after 5pm but you did not. Enjoy your holiday! Best regards, TTP HENRY TRAVEL HOI AN TEAM

Great morning with Thahn and our drivers. The Jeep trip was amazing. Saw the Red Shanked Douc and Brown monkeys up in the hills. Marble mountain and the caves were unbelievable.

A great day out in the very cool Jeep. Our lovely tour guides were super friendly, taught myself and my family so much about the culture and spirituality. Would highly recommend ♥️

It truly was a unique experience riding in a 1975 Military jeep up to visit the Quan Yin Lady Buddha and catching sight of the monkeys up Monkey Mountain and the views of Danang city and its coastline.

Very fun tour! We got picked up from our apartment in Da Nang in the military jeep. Riding in the jeep itself was an experience; they removed the top partway through so it was very immersive, driving through the mountains We spotted the rare monkeys pretty early on and it was such a treat to just watch them. We went to some viewpoints, Lady Buddha, and Marble Mountains. Our guide Thanh was wonderful and even got us water bottles. He shared a lot about each stop we made and you can tell he’s very experienced! We never felt rushed. Would highly recommend!

We had a great time on this private tour. Opting in for the Jeep was well worth it, especially when driving through the jungle. We really enjoyed seeing the monkeys, was the highlight for me! I’ve always preferred private tours because you really get to have an intimate experience and not have to worry so much about the crowds. Thank you guys!
