Long Tan Nui Dat slagmarken er det mest berømte slag udkæmpet af den australske hær under Vietnamkrigen. Denne kamp fandt sted i en gummiplantage. Den 18. august 2016 blev der afholdt en lavmælt ceremoni på stedet for slaget; mere end 1.000 australske veteraner og deres familier rejste til Vietnam for at deltage i 50-års jubilæet. Turen begynder med en afgang til Ba Ria - Vung Tau-provinsen med minivan. Kim was fantastic! The trip was informative combining the history of Long Tan with local knowledge. The driver was safe and attentive. Highly recommend this private trip.
amazing part of our history, for a up close and personal tribute to the men that served here and pay our respects to those who lost their lives during the war , this is worth a day for anyone visiting ho chi min . the guide hillybilly jack was incredible funny , worth checking out his socials. yes when it came to the history he was very very good with facts, stories , articles , pictures , maps and details that really gave us such an insight . giving us plenty of time to soak it all in and pay our respects . totally recommend this to all .
Kim had a fabulous understanding of the Long Tan battlefield and also took us to the Long Phuc tunnels. This was a world away from the overburdened area of the Chu Chi tunnels. This was a family visit to see where my father served in the war at Nui Dat and gave me a greater understanding and experience of the australian theatre in the war. I would recommend Kim's tour to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the experience, not simply a site visit.
Full day private tour, all inclusive. Dingo is quite a character and the tour was informative. Van was very comfortable would recommend if wanting to go in a small group. No crowds to contend with, which made the day an easy experience. I would suggest that you have some background knowledge of the battle so you can appreciate the experience more.
Kim Colby was magnificent! Just the right amount of detail. But, most wonderfully, had flowers and incense and appropriate music at sites (Lest We Forget and Last Post) and in car (Only 19, Khe Sanh). Grand host for sacred places.

Jack took myself and husband up to Long Tan, Nui Dat for a private tour. My Father in Law was a tunnel rat so we had a lot of interest in seeing the area. Jack was extremely knowledgeable on the area, the Aussie camps and the war - but also gave a lot of info about the history Vietnam. He was whitty with a great sense of humor. His empathy for all involved in the war was humbling to see and hear. Lunch was amazing and also opened us to hot bowl Pho - a must try! Would highly recommend Jack for any of his tours.
