It was an amazing and breathtaking experience. This tour gave our family sufficient time to explore each place and Shane, our tour guide was friendly and went the extra mile to help us take multiple photos. The stargazing experience was very memorable. Will highly recommend anyone this tour if they would like to take time to explore Lake Tekapo and Mt Cook!
This tour was a comprehensive experience. Two lovely days exploring Mt Cook, Lake Tekapo, and various points of interest along the way. We also loved the Alpine Alpacas. Very recommended.
The tour guide cum driver is very helpful and kind. He is very accommodating. I like the itinerary but would like to suggest other options of lunch before the trail hike instead of just eating at the cafeteria. I like the trail walk and the stops at various photo spots. Although the sky was not co-operative and we were unable to see any stars for that just one night. The other activities in the itinerary was good. A tour to Lake Tekapo which is the UNESCO nightsky reserve, surely one must be there to do star gazing. I would be happy to stay there for more nights if the package allows. I will certainly be back there again...for more nights and later in the summer...
It was a wonderful trip to New Zealand in winter. The weather was nice, the contrast between the blue sky, the snowy mountains and the lake was really beautiful, and the trekking was quite enjoyable because it was mostly flat. The starry sky on Lake Tekapo, which I was most looking forward to, was truly amazing and exceeded my expectations. We enjoyed the Wildlife Preserve and Takhini Hot Spring tour and we were very happy to see you again. Thank you very much.
