Asenema vandfald (undertiden stavet Assema vandfald) er en af de skjulte naturlige attraktioner i den østlige region af Ghana. Beliggende nær Akropong i Akuapem Hills, er det omkring 1,5 - timers kørsel fra Accra, hvilket gør det til et ideelt rejsemål. Et fredeligt vandfald omgivet af frodig tropisk skov. * En nem 5 - minutters gang fra vejsiden til faldene. * Perfekt til naturfotografering og afslapning. * En lavtliggende pool, hvor besøgende kan afkøle sig. * Skøn køretur gennem de smukke Akuapem Hills. Bedste tidspunkt at besøge Vandfaldet er mest spektakulært i regntiden (april–juli), hvor vandstrømmen er stærkest. Det forbliver en behagelig destination året rundt, selv om strømmen normalt er lettere i den tørre sæson.
Aburi Botanic Garden har haft mange roller gennem årene, herunder planteintroduktion og undervisning i videnskabelige metoder inden for landbrug, men i dag er det en af de mange institutioner, der fører kampen for at redde plantens mangfoldighed gennem forskning, dyrkning af truede planter, planteforplantning, havearbejde og miljøundervisning.

The garden and waterfall were so beautiful and the cocoa farm was such a great learning experience. Hotel pickup and drop off are included and I felt safe as a solo woman traveler.

I toured the gardens, cocoa farm and Asenema falls as the Boti falls were closed. Moses was a great driver and guide who provided ample information about the sights , Accra and Ghana, including history and culture. The local guides at the gardens and farm were also great. I enjoyed the tour and recommend it.

Even is such a chill tour guide. He exceeded our expectations for sure. I def recommend him I had so much fun and the meal for lunch Eben recommended was fire!

Eben is literally a wealth of knowledge. We started the day at the Aburi Garden, we got to learn so much about the different plants and trees (even got to taste some), so cool! Then we did the cocoa farm, I never knew that Ghana was such a massive producer of Cocoa. We got to see a live demonstration of how they are harvested, dried, and prepared for manufacturing. We learned so much history about the guy that started the farm and how cool that 2 of the original trees planted back in the 1800s were still there producing. We then headed to the waterfall, and wow, it was so much fun! We got in, played in the water, and just soaked in all of God’s wonder. The entire trip, Eben is giving us historical and cultural context, was playing as our content creator (we got so many good pictures! This literally was the best icing on the cake), took us to the BEST local restaurant after, like the food was soooooo good (Ayede Pan). The ride felt safe for a family with young children, the trip was extraordinary, and Eben is literally so passionate about his work, you can’t help but have fun with him as your guide!

We went on the Boti Waterfalls, Aburi Gardens, and Cocoa Farm day tour with EAA Tours Ghana, and our guide was Eben (Eben De Tour Guide GH). He was absolutely excellent — knowledgeable, polite, punctual, and very helpful. He had great energy throughout the day and drove us in a very nice, comfortable car.
