Booked this outside of our cruise line and so glad we did! Personalized service, small group size (there were only 4 other people outside of our family), fantastic guides, and great driver. The hike was uphill a lot and you're walking for a good 30 mins, but they take frequent breaks. I'm able bodied but very out of shape and I made it! The falls were cool and refreshing after the hike in the rainforest. The guides were really personable and funny. I highly highly recommend this excursion! It was the highlight for us in DR!!

I was on a princess cruise but I booked this activity through Viator. We were a small group that combined with a larger group, however, our photographer was specifically for us. This was a blast. Absolutely amazing service. Very personable. The tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable about the local nuances. Great photography and very professional! Would 100% recommend.

What a fun experience, despite the pouring rain!! The transportation picked us up exactly on time and our driver was a very personable, fun guy. Water was warmer than expected, which was awesome! Very big groups so had to wait longer than we preferred, but thats just a part of the experience. Definitely recommend Ramon's Tours!

The experience with Ramon’s tour was great: awesome communication (Jesus), pick up etc, They were the taxi to and from the tour. HOWEVER, the actual waterfall experience with damajagua 7 waterfalls was the worst excursion we’ve ever been on. There were literally hundreds of people moving at a snails pace in line through the jungle for hours, waiting for our turn to get to the water. Once in, it was like being in a crowded subway with no rhyme or reason for getting through. So claustrophobic and unorganized! A maybe 1 hour experience from start to finish took 4 hours. The guides had no clue who was in their group. Everyone around us was upset. Such a waste of a day and money. We also had plans to do other things that we weren’t able to because it took so long. If they limited the amount of people and metered the timing of them, it could have been enjoyable. Also, it was not 7 waterfalls. It was 3 small slides and a jump.

On busy cruise days, the number of visitors can be very high, which may unfortunately lead to longer wait times and a more crowded experience than expected. Regarding the number of waterfalls, this can vary depending on weather conditions and safety regulations set by the park. Sometimes only a portion of the falls are open to ensure guest safety. We completely understand your frustration, especially when it affects the rest of your day. While these aspects are outside of our direct control, your feedback is very valuable and helps set proper expectations for future guests. The experience was good and our guide was great. The company ensured that they waited for us to get off the ship even though we were an hour late because of time difference. The walk off the ship was quite far in the heat but the rest was a smooth trip.

A huge group- the whole excursion was waiting around for the group ahead of us to go through. A 3 hour experience was over 5 hours. We had to beg them to let us go ahead in the end because we were going to miss our cruise!

The flow through the falls is managed directly by the Damajagua Water Park administration, and during peak cruise days large group arrivals can unfortunately cause delays that are beyond the control of individual tour operators. Guest safety and ensuring everyone returns to their cruise ship on time is always our top priority, which is why we stepped in to help move things along when timing became tight. Great experience, far exceeded our expectations. Jesus with Ramon Tours took good care of us, providing transport to and from the pier and getting us hooked up with our guide. Be aware of the hike to get to the top of the seven falls, need to be in decent shape.
