Stefania was an excellent tour guide. Not a single moment was wasted and no part of it was boring. I wish we could have her as our tour guide at all of the monuments we have seen. It was also great having such a small group.
First Entry Semi-Private Colosseum & Roman Forum with Special Arena Access. Frederica is an excellent tour guide who is a great historic story teller. She made the tour so interesting and helped us imagine what the colosseum was like in the past. She answered questions knowledgeably. But most importantly, she cared about us. She made sure we had a spot in the shade when she had a longer explanation of what we were seeing. She took great pictures of us at ideal spots. When some of us had mobility issues she guided us to the elevator. And she stopped for bathroom and rehydration breaks. She’s a real gem and Liv Tours is lucky to have her.
Amazing tour, we learnt a lot. We loved Federica she was very knowledgeable and thoughtful (constantly finding us shade to escape the heat). Highly recommend this tour.

We took a private midmorning tour of the Colosseum, the arena floor and Forum. Our tour could not have been better - private or small group is the only way to go! First of all, the communication from the company we toured with, Liv Tours, was very clear; we knew exactly when and where to meet them on the morning of our tour. Second of all, I would give our tour guide 10 stars if I could! Our guide, Fabrizio, was absolutely amazing and had a wealth acknowledge! Fabrizio is an experienced archaeologist and very knowledgeable about the history of Rome. It was like touring with a walking encyclopedia! He was able to answer every single one of our questions and, in fact, anticipated many of them before we asked, further reflecting his great knowledge and experience. He prepared us for everything we would see in advance and then pointed out many interesting, small details that I’m sure many tourists miss. We certainly hit the jackpot with this tour! We’re so grateful to Fabrizio for giving us such a wonderful experience - Grazie mille!! This was our last tour before flying back to the US and it was definitely a wonderful note to end on!!

Our tour guide was Francesca and she did a wonderful job! She was a lovely tour guide and a taught us so much. She also was a lovely person to talk to in general. We enjoyed it so much!
We did two tours with LivTours, both of which were outstanding! Our first was a Roman Forum and Colosseum with floor access, and our guide was Patrick. He was incredibly knowledgeable and really helped bring the Roman forum to life rather than a pile of rocks. I would recommend him and this tour to anyone headed to Rome. We had a much better experience as a result. Our second tour was a small group early entry tour for the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica with Elisabetta. Again an amazing tour guide, and fun group to tour with. It was nice to have someone who knew what to do as you might expect, it’s crowded and the early entry tour really helped. Both of our LivTours were amazing and we would recommend them to anyone looking for top quality guides. Thank you for making our trip memorable!
Visiting Rome in a heatwave, we were so happy we booked this early morning tour. We were easily guided through ticket check, security and were the among the first on to the arena floor. Our guide Valentina was charming and knowledgeable about the history of the colosseum. Highly recommend this tour.
We booked the tour for the colosseum and roman forum. Matteo was an excellent tour guide, giving us an insight into roman history and answering all our questions leaving no details behind. Recommended tour!
