San Isidro: Gå en tur gennem den rolige Olive Grove Park, et smukt grønt område med århundredgamle oliventræer. Historisk centrum: Beundre Limas koloniale skatte, herunder Main Square, San Martín Square og San Francisco Catacombs Museum. Vores første stop vil være den charmerende Love Park, en romantisk sted indviet i 1993. Dets centrale værk, "Kyssen", et smukt værk af den berømte kunstner Víctor Delfín, skildrer to elskere, der deler en uendelig omfavnelse - et sandt symbol på lidenskab og forbindelse i Lima.
Vi fortsætter til Huaca Pucllana, en ekstraordinær præ-Inca arkæologiske site dateret tilbage til 200-700 e.Kr. Denne adobe pyramide var et vigtigt religiøst og politisk kompleks for Lima civilisationen. Bemærk venligst, at besøget er panoramisk - vi observerer stedet kun udefra.

Vores næste stop er Barranco, byens mest farverige og kunstneriske område, hvor hver mur fortæller en historie gennem sine smukke vægmalerier og gadekunst. Oplev dens trendy, bohemiske stemning, og tag et øjeblik til at gøre et ønske ved Bridge of Sighs, en af Limas mest romantiske vartegn. LUNCH: Ved middagstid vil der være en pause på 1 time 30 minutter, så du kan spise frokost. Vi vil anbefale dig nogle gode lokale restauranter.
I den anden del af turen besøger vi San Martín-pladsen, der blev bygget i begyndelsen af 1900-tallet for at fejre Perus 100 års uafhængighed. Omgivet af elegante neoklassiske bygninger, denne plaza står som en af Lima's smukkeste vartegn og et symbol på byens arkitektoniske pragt.
Derefter tager vi til hovedpladsen i Lima, den mest ikoniske og historisk betydningsfulde plads i Peru. Her vil du beundre bemærkelsesværdige landemærker som det præsidentlige palads, byrådet i Lima, katedralen og det elegante ærkebiskoppalads, som alle viser storheden af Limas koloniale arkitektur.
Til sidst besøger vi et af de mest fascinerende museer i centrum af Lima, hvor din ekspertguide vil dele indsigt i den rige historie i Perus hovedstad. We had a great day out with Sandy. She was so kind and informative. We walked the Barranco area, saw lots of cool murals and local art, strolled through beautiful parks, learned a lot about the history of Peru and got to see a beautiful corner of this sprawling metropolis. If you are looking for a good way to get an overview of Lima and spend time with some wonderful locals, this is the tour for you!

The tour is valid for the morning part in the old town while the afternoon part of Barranco absolutely without any added value.

A super interesting tour. A super comfortable way to see all the neighborhoods of Lima that you have to see, they take you with the private van in a super small group and explain all the beautiful places in the area. Sandy is super nice and makes the tour super enjoyable and interesting. It also helps a lot with tips for your stay in Peru. I recommend 100%.

I use a lot of tours with a guide all over the world. Alexandra is the best tour guide I have ever had. She is very friendly, kind and has excellent conversation skills. Her attention to details is impeccable. She is the only tour guide with whom I honestly retained all the information that she shared. I wish I had more trips with her is Peru. Jimmy - our driver was very good and a safe driver. The tour itinerary is good. We were not rushed, had ample time to see places and have questions. It was small group of 5 which was amazing!

Lima Highlights Tours provided an exceptional full day tour of Lima. We were short on time and this tour hit the main areas to see. Our guide, Martin, was professional and very knowledgeable about Lima and Peru. A great way to get introduced to Lima and Peru. A van picked us up and dropped us off at your hotel, which was nice as Lima's traffic is hectic.
