We met up with Mark at the restaurant location. He was very knowledgeable about the island and told us about all the places to see and do. He stopped several times to allow us to take photos and even took photos for us. He was very personable! We would recommend this tour and guide to anyone looking at doing this.
It was our first time visiting Catalina Island and this activity was the first thing we did when we got to the island. It was a great experience and I would recommend it! Our tour guide, Michael, was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He told us about great snorkeling spots, where to eat, and educated us about the island. The scenic tour around the island was great and we were able to stop and take pictures. At the end, he even dropped us off in front of our hotel! I highly recommend this tour, especially if it’s your first time visiting so you’ll know your way around the place.
My husband and I took my parents on a 2 hr tour of Catalina (which was one of the stops on our cruise ship). Our guide Chris was Fantastic, sprinkling in so much island history, folk lore, and humor into the trip! This was a highlight of our week together, and thank you Chris for such a memorable and fun adventure on Catalina!
This was the first activity we did on the island and it was a great experience (also our first time in Catalina Island). Michael, our tour guide, was very friendly, professional, and knew a lot about the island. He gave us tips on where to eat and great snorkeling spots. He took us to scenic spots where we took pictures with great backdrop of the hills and the colorful ocean. I highly recommend this tour, especially if it’s your first time to Catalina Island. One recommendation I would make is, it would be great if the golf cart had speakers and the tour guide spoke onto a mic. If anyone is sitting on the back seat of the cart, you might have a hard time hearing the tour guide. My kids (8 and 10 years old) sat on the very back seat (facing outward) and they couldn’t hear the tour guide that well (but they didn’t care all too much about being able to hear him, they just enjoyed the view).
Sarah was very knowledgeable about the lifestyle and history of Catalina. We had a perfect day to view the amazing beauty of the landscape. We even encountered a couple of deer, both of which posed for photos & not too skiddish. We know what to do & how to navigate when we come back for more than a day. A great experience with a great guide! Ask for Sarah!
Fun filled experience with knowledgeable guide. The golf cart needs a new muffler as a bit strained to hear her… but otherwise good time!
Mark, our tour guide, had great knowledge as he grew up on the island, encourage questions, had both , island and personal stories about Catalina

This was my first time visiting Catalina Island, and it was such an amazing experience learning about the island's history. Marc did a fantastic job explaining everything and stopping at the most beautiful landmarks and scenic viewpoints. My favorite part was seeing the Wrigley Mansion and learning about the island's unique Pet Cemetery.

It was a fun ride around town from one hilltop to the other with great photo opportunities of beautiful Avalon. Our tour guide Chris is a local who is funny and knowledgeable about Catalina. I would highly recommend it.
