My husband I went on the Sunset Cruise on Sunday 28/06/26 It was a cloudy day so we worried about our “Sunset” We didn’t have to worry ! We saw and learnt lots from our skipper Steve . I have the most amazing photos of the area. We both throughly enjoyed the trip and would recommend going Sue and Mike Turner Melbourne

It’s a lovely boat ride Recommend doing it It was great to be in Cairns on a nice night. Sunset was lovely. One of the highlights I did with my husband and Cousin and it was fantastic.

Great experience on the boat around Chinamans creek. Good insights into the local way of life, the environment and water ways. Beer and food served just at the right time. Good view of the lights of Cairns and the local way of life on the water. Checkin and getting onboard was easy. Family friendly. Toilet on board

Simple, max small group, informative guide. Safe, saw 2 small crocodiles. Few laughs, pretty basic snax.

Waste of money. You neither see the sunset (which sets behind a hill) nor do you see any wildlife at all because they do not come out at this time!

Cancelled afew hours before because it hadn’t been filled. Super frustrating as it was my final night so wasn’t able to book something else. Not super reliable trip.

I booked this trip for myself and my 29 y.o. daughter. I expected a big ship and recorded narration (that was what we had on on Melbourne Yarra River cruise), but this was much nicer: a small boat with approx. 12 passengers and the captain, who was delightful. He had lots of information to share, but, being an actual human, was also able to interact with the passengers. Since I didn't catch his name, I'll mention that we departed the Cairns Harbor at 5:15 on Dec. 23, 2025, in hopes that he &/or the biz owners see my review. It's because of him that I'm giving a full 5 stars instead of 4. We had a lot of trouble *finding* the boat, but the captain gave us the extra few minutes we needed to get aboard. Staff at the ferry terminal gave us incorrect info, and the location wasn't marked on our voucher.
