Good but info is old fashioned and far too many long waits between stops.
Chose any company but this one in Berlin, Grayline in hindsight would have been a better choice. I have used CitySightseeing in many cities around the world without issue, which is why I didn't research any further, but it was a logistical disaster. They have an app with live updates that are completely inaccurate. Unfortunately, Berlin does not allow to post or indicate pick-up locations, so you are left relying on the app information, so when a stop is noted as Rotes Rathaus, I expect to be picked up at this location, not somewhere else on the opposite side of the square. They also have two lines, the second of which only runs every 40 minutes, if on time at all, whereas the other companies combine into one route with more frequent service. On hot days, with no accurate pick up information or location, you stand exhausted in the heat wondering when the bus is coming. There was also no proper functioning air conditioning on the lower level of my bus on the green line, so either swelter or burn on the upper level. The bus drivers were great and there were on-site reps in some locations to help guide you to the bus pick up locations because of this issue in Berlin, but unfortunately, they were only at a few key spots and often didn't stand at the location indicated on the online maps, which made things very frustrating.

The bus took over 40 minutes to arrive. The representative was completely rude. Didn’t help and had an awful attitude. He was pissed we didn’t buy our tickets from him and he wouldn’t help me because of it. When i kept asking him when the bus would arrive he threatened to call the police on me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Two of us had been on a walking tour but three of us took the 24 hour hop on hop off bus tour with headphone commentary as a quick catch up for our new comrade. Oh how disappointed we were. * Minimal information during the tour. There were large gaps between sights and we constantly asked each other if each others headphones were working as there was so little talking and interupted music. * Little information on the sights despite us knowing some of these had great historical importance as provided by the walking tour. (Sandemans) * 2 of us had been on 2 walking tours and these far exceeded expectations whereas this didn't get up in the morning * 15 minute break that just felt a waste of time * The 2 narrators combined inane jokes and banter with little information. Apologies for negativity but this was very poor and the 1st and hopefully only time I've given anything a 1 rating. To sum it up the ticket seller gave us more information than the tour!

There are multiple “hop on hop off” tours in Berlin. I followed the internet and found one I liked and somhow ended up paying these people. When I showed up for what I thought I had paid for, I had to pay again. Berlin is confusing enough. I did see their bus, but not where I went to start the tour.

My friend and I found this extremely low quality. I've been on a number of hop-on hop-off buses aorund the world so came with a background of finding such tours very informative. Very little information was provided despite there being long gaps between sights in which much could have been put forward. The sights themselves were generally inadequately explained and many buildings and areas of historical interest we passed were not mentioned. (I am familiar with Berlin but my friend is not.) We were often told what was inside buildings eg a fast evelator, rather than the history or architectire or cultural significance. There was a fifteen minute break (scheduled) where we just sat by the side of the road (surely, if the break was for driver rest, a fresh driver might have taken over and the tour promptly resumed) and another (unscheduled) soon afterwards, also sitting for some time. The narration contained inane jokes and banter and, during the general delivery, the two characters occasionally interrupted each other so what little information was to be provided, was not. In addition, the characters were, at times, somewhat disparaging of aspects of Berlin. As if all that wasn't bad enough, the time between narrations was filled with jittery 'music' with a few bars on constant repeat. Neither of us will be lining up for this company again.

The tour quality was fine. Overall, we enjoyed it. We found the stopping points to be inconsistent and often found ourselves running to catch the bus before the driver left without us as we were waiting where they dropped us off and that wasn’t where they picked us up. More frequent buses would have been nice. However, the reason for this review is that at 6pm, they stop the bus and kick you off wherever you are, in a strange city, with no means of getting back to where you started. Fortunately, we were staying with family so we could call for a ride and fortunately, we were in a safe part of the city. We could have been stranded.
