Templerne på UNESCO-listede Angkor Archaeological Park har næsten tusind års historie, så en guidet tur er en god måde at lære så meget som muligt om templernes kunst og arkitektur. Efter at have hentet dig fra dit hotel, går vi til Angkor Park og går til Angkor Wat, hvor vi først vil se det store tempel. Vi tager derefter til Angkor Thom, hvor vi tager over til Bayon, hvor du vil se de mere end 200 smilende ansigter kigge ned på dig fra tårnene ovenfor. Bayon er det næstmest populære tempel efter Angkor Wat.
Vi vil derefter udforske Baphuon, Phimeanakas, elefanternes terrasse og Leper King Terrace. Vi afslutter morgenen med hurtige besøg i de mindre Preah Palilay, Preah Pithu Group og Prasat Suor Prat templer.
Vi finder noget at spise på en lokal restaurant eller madbod i Angkor Park, før vi fortsætter vores tur om eftermiddagen. Bemærk venligst mad og drikkevarer til frokost på egen konto.
Efter frokost besøger vi templerne Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda, Spean Thma og Ta Keo. Vi besøger derefter Tomb Raider-templet (Ta Prohm), som blev gjort berømt ved at blive brugt som baggrund i den populære Lara Croft-film. Vi afslutter turen med et besøg i Banteay Kdei.

Thy was a fun guide around Beng Mealea and Kampong Phluk. He is quick to laugh and good to chat with. His driving and his English are excellent and it was nice to hear a little about his life growing up. I wish I had also toured Angkor Wat with him as our guide - hopefully another time! The tour was great. Our driver was also our guide. He knows well about the history of Khmer, and he speaks well english. At each temple, we were stopping at points of interests to have interesting informations about the Khmer civilization, things that you would not get without a guide. The driver gives you cold bottles of water when you need it. He also gives you the good spots for pictures and is a quite passionate photographer when you ask for it.

It's a great tour. I enjoyed the ruins without worrying about being kind! They will guide you best for foreigners. The car was safe to drive, very slow.
