If you’re visiting Anchorage, don’t miss a tour with Welcome Anchorage Tours, especially if you’re lucky enough to have James as your guide. James was, without question, the best tour guide we’ve ever had. His knowledge of Anchorage, Alaska, and the surrounding area was extraordinary, but what really set him apart was his ability to tailor the tour to our interests rather than simply reciting a scripted presentation. Every stop included fascinating local insights, history, and stories that only someone with deep roots in the community could share. We were in Anchorage on my husband’s birthday after what could have been a long, tiring day of travel. Instead, James turned it into one of the highlights of our trip. His warmth, flexibility, and genuine enthusiasm made the experience both relaxing and unforgettable. Sherrye our guide exceeded expectations. She was enthusiastic & made sure we saw all the sites plus! I can’t believe how stunning the scenery was. It is the best way to travel from Anchorage to Seward. We made many stops & enjoyed the wildlife & scenery. Easy from the start with a pick up in Anchorage from our hotel, Comfort Suites, to the final drop off at our hotel in Seward.. We made numerous Highly recommend!
Fabulous from start In Anchorage to the finish in Seward. Our guide, Sherrye was so helpful & enthusiastic. We were picked up at our Comfort Suites Airport hotel. Sherrye covered all the sights & then some. She maximized our time sightseeing. I was having some difficulty with walking but Sherrye made sure I didn’t miss the sights, such as the waterfall . She extended her hand to help me & gave me the comfortable front passenger seat .Sherrye also offered & took great pictures of us during the tour. She shared her love of Alaska & history of the area. The scenery was breathtaking. The whole trip exceeded our expectations. At the end of the tour, we were dropped off at our hotel in Seward. Don’t hesitate to take this tour!
Well put together transfer/tour. Staff was great and was in contact often making sure everything was in place and would run smoothly.

We definitely recommend this experience of traveling from Anchorage to Seward. Everything was seamless right from booking to pickup. Frequent messages were sent for coordination. Trip included detailed guided tour of Anchorage, wildlife center and guided messages and scenic stops and lunch stop all the way to Seward. Highly recommend this to travel to Seward

We saw several sights, but we were rushed and didn’t get to do the hike to Byron Glacier. Earthquake Park could have been skipped. We spent too much time at Buloga Point. We didn’t see any whales.

Our private tour from Anchorage to Seward with 10 people was absolutely wonderful. Our guide, Elizabeth, was fantastic—professional, knowledgeable, and so much fun. The special lunch in Whittier was a lovely surprise, and the hike to the glaciers was the highlight of the day. Everything ran smoothly, and we felt well taken care of the whole time. Stephanie was our guide and she was fantastic. We enjoyed the conservation center, and the hikes were excellent, showcasing the beauty of the area. This a great option for transportation from Anchorage to Seward. Highly recommend.

This was the best unexpected surprise! Stephanie was knowledgeable and friendly. We saw more than I expected, which included a fairly level walk/hike to just below Byron Glacier. It was a small group too. So much better than a bus directly from Anchorage to Seward. Well worth the price!
