Amphawa er et af de mest populære flydende markeder nær Bangkok, med besøgende næsten udelukkende thailandske. Beliggende 50 km fra Bangkok var denne engang lille landsby tilsyneladende allerede til stede i midten af det syttende århundrede. Afrejse Bangkok kl. 11.30 og rejse med luftkonditionerede køretøjer til Amphawa Floating Market for at slutte sig til lokalbefolkningen, da de køber og sælger fra både på kanalerne i Mea Klong-floden. Spadsere langs strandpromenaden for at se scenerne udfolde sig som landmænd og fiskere sælger snacks som stegte havmuslinger og papaya salat fra deres både. Hovedtegningen er selvfølgelig at spise skaldyr grillet usikkert på træbåde fortøjet omkring den berømte centralbro, der serverer et appetitvækkende udvalg af store rejer, skaldyr og blæksprutter. Fra middag til sent på aftenen er lugten simpelthen uimodståelig, og kunderne strømmer til hver side af floden hele dagen lang. Rute: 11:30 - Pick up fra det forskellige hotel eller mødested
12:30 - Afrejse til Samutsongkram-provinsen 14:30 - Kom det risikable marked, skal se attraktion i Thailand. Du vil se et tog, der skubber igennem et travlt marked og se, da butiksindehaveren trækker deres bord af grøntsager og kød ud af vejen. det er unik og eksotisk oplevelse.

I was very satisfied with the tour, Cindy was my guide, with a private car. The english describe of the tour, and the additional informaions were so good. I recommend her andthistour to everyone. It takes about 6 hours from Bangkok centre.
Guide and driver were brilliant. Lots to see and do, so different to the UK. Finished with a super boat trip to see fireflies.

Exciting Trip outside Bangkok! 90‘ Ride from our Hotel only! Nice Boattrip, exciting market at the River and on the tracks! Realy recomanded!

highly recommended , this is a must tour while visiting bangkok , the whole experience of the maeklong railway track market and the train passing through it is simply amazing , however i would like to mention that a more appropriate place must be identified for viewing the passing of the train , the tour guide must be more aware of this and the tour company should look into this specifically ... we couldn't get a good spot but still worth the experience. The amphawa floating market experience was also amazing ,, the river side boats with restaurants on it and seating for food .. the boat ride itself around the island .. worth the money and time ...

The tour isn’t really a tour. Basically a minimally speaking English person picks you up, then just drops you off at the locations and let you know when the pick ups are. You’re better off taxi-ing there yourself and just skip the Maeklong Railway Market — it’s pretty authentic... and disgusting. Flies on everything, uneven pavement with black gross water whenever you slip. The Amphawa Floating Market is worth a visit because it’s unique and the stalls are more interesting. Just to tell you how bad our tour guide was, I asked him where I could use the restroom (this was 4 hrs into the trip so far) and he led me to a place where I paid 5 baht to use the toilet (ok fine). But that’s not the worst part. The toilet itself was completely slopping wet with god knows what, disgusting, no toilet paper and there was literally RAT FECES all over the top of the toilet’s tank. I’ve been to some terrible bathrooms in my time but first time I’ve ever been so traumatized, I straight up walked out and told the tour guide never to recommend anyone go in there. At least know where to tell people as a guide a decent restroom is for god’s sake. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AND DO NOT USE THIS TOUR SERVICE.

The price of the tour is not the same as the page. I didn't have much time, so I decided to pay for it. The value is almost double and it is better if they do it on their own. The guide gives almost no information, only takes you places and the boat tour costs only 50 baths. I think it's overrated. Also, my hotel was out of the area but on the way to the places we visited and so I asked to be picked up there and they did not accept it. I took a taxi downtown and then stopped by my hotel on the way. Fortunately, on the way back I was left on the street near the hotel because they realized I was on the way. In general I think it is better to do it on your own.
This was a great tour, it was not a huge bus with 40 people so we got personal attention. The tour guide was great and it was amazing to see these local markets bring life to how people live daily here. I think it is something my daughters will never forget.
We booked this tour because it combined two characteristic tours of Bangkok, the train market and the floating market of Amphawa which is not as chaotic as the other. On time they picked us up from the tree and reported us as scheduled. In addition it was included boat ride at 18.10 but in the dark is not the best (we did just arrived (n 2 people 100bath) better so you can see better. The guide explained where we went and where the meeting points were.... but no description or curiosity (but the places speak for themselves) overall nice ride and great price (in 2 people 2.900bath) Perfect.
