My husband and I had a spectacular tour with Jonathan! He was super easy to meet up with at Amber Cove and kept in contact with us as we were walking to him from the ship. He took us wherever we wanted to go and gave us as much time as we wanted at each stop! It was the perfect day, highly recommend booking with him!

This tour is a great way to see and experience the cultural downtown area with a knowledgeable guide. Jonathan was excellent. Instead of just taking random pictures, Jonathan took over as our personal videographer and insured we took memorable ones. It was the perfect mix of walking and driving to see key areas.

We have been on city tours around the world and have never met any tour guide who we enjoyed spending the day with as much as Jonathan . We had a fantastic experience with Jonathan during our visit to Amber Cove. He took us to see the fortress, the city, and several typical local spots, allowing us to experience the real Dominican Republic beyond the usual tourist areas. Jonathan was punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable, but also friendly and funny, which made the whole tour even more enjoyable. He shared interesting information about the local culture and history and gave us great recommendations along the way. On top of that, Jonathan was also an excellent photographer. He took beautiful photos of us and was the one suggesting poses and creative situations, making every stop even more fun and memorable. The tour was well organized, relaxed, and we always felt comfortable and safe. We truly appreciated his passion for his work and his country. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Amber Cove who wants an authentic and unforgettable experience. If we come back, we will definitely choose Jonathan again!

I was in domincan republic with my boyfriend a few days ago and we booked Jonathan as our ride only but he went all out to give us a good tour of the town , his vibe was marvelous ! He knows how to take the perfect vacation pictures and videos I was so happy and he is very affordable. We are coming back for part 2 just because of him , he made our trip feel so wonderful, he is negotiable, he has a good sense of humor and we felt very safe touring with him!❤️ if you’re coming to puerto plata at anytime make sure to book him and you won’t regret it , HE WAS AWESOME ! 10/10! 🎉

From start to finish Jonathan made us feel so welcome and comfortable in his company. He took us to some lovely spots and told us all about the history. Jonathan is very friendly and even gave our little boy a bracelet! If we visit again we won’t hesitate to book with him again 😄 he’s also a GREAT photographer and made sure he got the perfect photos / videos for us! We had so much fun thank you so much!!!

I know that one never really knows what to expect when booking an excursion but Johnathan is the real deal. (there’s a reason why he’s got all five star reviews) He was welcoming, fun, joked around with us and tailored a few stops for us based on our interests/ background as well as the other main highlights. Also, for those cruising into Amber Cove, pick up and drop off is a breeze. Recommend 1000%
