We had such an amazing time in Hoi An, and a huge part of that was because of Ms. Vy. She was incredibly kind, warm, and accommodating from the very beginning. She’s soft-spoken, patient, and so knowledgeable about Vietnam’s history, making every story and explanation interesting and easy to follow. She made the coconut boat ride and the lantern-making workshop so much more enjoyable. We learned so much, had so many laughs, and created wonderful memories along the way. Thanks to Ms. Vy, we were able to experience Hoi An in a much more meaningful way. We’re truly grateful for her kindness and would highly recommend her to anyone visiting Hoi An! Cheers from the Philippines for you, Ms Vy! We’re wishing all the best for you. ❤️
This was an amazing trifecta of an experience, perfect for a first (, second, and third) date… hint hint wink wink 😉 I had already done the Hoi An lantern and riverboat candle release ride thing before, but this particular tour took it to another level with the basket boat tour in the coconut forest (which I hadn’t done before) as well as Hle’s epic lantern making class. She’s so passionate about lantern-making that she was able to teach me how to do it well and actually make it look good when my last lantern that I made did not turn out nearly as aesthetically pleasing to the eye. And I didn’t get to make my own candle to release on the lantern riverboat ride, so that was a nice touch to be able to write my wish in there in keeping with the tradition. Hle was amazing, and so was Minh for driving us everywhere safely and ensuring we had a wonderful time. Oh yeah, it was me and someone I was meeting for the first time doing this, and this went so well for 3 little back to back dates that we ended up going on some more dates immediately after and had an unforgettable night. 11/10 would HIGHLY recommend
Fun experience. We each made a lantern to bring home and another to release into the river. Would recommend!
The lantern making experience was fun, I learnt to make a nice lantern enjoying jokes and good vibes from the professional lantern maker, Le Tears she was juat wonderful. I had a lovely time, bonus I met a group of ladies who were awesome too. The boat trip and candle float was soo. Such an interesting tradition
Vy was an amazing tour guide. The basket boat and lantern boat ride is such a good experience especially for tourists
We were collected from our hotel and brought to the lantern making venue. We were given clear instructions and help when needed and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Great choice of fabrics. We then made paper lanterns for the river and we were brought to the boat and had a lovely experience setting off our lanterns. The hosts were very helpful and friendly people. We would highly recommend.
10/10 - by very good and nice and friendly
We were assisted by a wonderful girl named Vy, I want to express my great gratitude for the help🙏🏼. Recommend ❤️
Thank you very much Vy❤❤ very nice and sympathetic ❤❤❤ even went shopping so that they could buy interesting things 🙏🏻❤❤⸏
What a fun afternoon! I’m really glad my daughter found this activity. We were able to make our own beautiful lanterns as well as a couple paper lanterns which we released on the river during our boat ride. We’ve had a busy few weeks of traveling, so this was a lovely way to spend a couple quiet hours together on our last day in Vietnam. The boat ride was about 20 minutes, but it was a magical time. Thank you, Ms. Le, for helping us make wonderful memories together!
