Vi begynder dagen med vores byrundtur, hvor vi vil give guidede kommentarer til Hobarts store attraktioner og vartegn. Vores første destination er den ærefrygtindgydende kunanyi, også kendt som Mt. Wellington. Stig op til toppen på 1272 m og bliv fascineret af den betagende panoramaudsigt over Hobart og dens omgivelser. Dernæst tager vi til det berømte Salamanca-marked, som kun er tilgængeligt om lørdagen. Efter at have udforsket markedet, fortsætter vi vores rejse gennem den naturskønne Coal River Valley vinregion. Undervejs stopper vi hurtigt ved den anerkendte Wicked Cheese. Derefter fortsætter vi til den historiske township Richmond, som er rig på straffedomshistorie. Richmond er hjemsted for adskillige charmerende spisesteder, hvilket gør det til det perfekte sted for vores frokostpause. For at afslutte vores eventyrfyldte dag besøger vi Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. Kom helt tæt på kænguruerne og andet naturligt dyreliv. Gå ikke glip af chancen for at opleve den berømte Tasmanske Djævel.

Dernæst tager vi til det berømte Salamanca-marked, som kun er tilgængeligt om lørdagen. Dette verdensklassemarked fremviser det allerbedste fra Tasmansk kultur, og tilbyder et dejligt udvalg af kunst, lokale produkter, talentfulde buskere, unikke souvenirs, forfriskende drikkevarer og meget mere!
Vi fortsætter til den historiske township Richmond, som er rig på straffedomshistorie og fremviser storslåede sandstens- og kolonibygninger. Her får du mulighed for at beundre Australiens ældste bro og katolske kirke. Richmond er også hjemsted for adskillige charmerende spisesteder, hvilket gør det til det perfekte sted for vores frokostpause. Derudover anbefaler vi stærkt at besøge Drink Tasmania Tasting House, hvor du kan nyde smagsprøver af regionens fineste vine, whisky og lokale råvarer.
Undervejs vil vi gøre et hurtigt stop ved den anerkendte Wicked Cheese, hvor du kan nyde en gratis osteprøve og mulighed for at købe nogle lokale råvarer fra farm gate cafe.
For at afslutte vores eventyrfyldte dag besøger vi Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. Kom helt tæt på de venlige kænguruer og andet fascinerende Tasmansk og australsk dyreliv. Gå ikke glip af chancen for at opleve den berømte Tasmanske Djævel, et sandt højdepunkt selv for lokalbefolkningen!

The views from Mt. Wellington were amazing. In Richmond make sure to have a scallop pie at the bakery. Bonorong sanctuary was a great stop as well with Tasmanian devils and kangaroo feeding. Andrew did a great job of giving us the highlights of Hobart and good commentary on all of the places we past.

Mark is so knowledgeable! I learnt facts I never would have learnt if I went by myself. The experience was also not rigid. We are allowed to step out of the van on our own and explore each place to our liking for around 1.5h. So that gave everyone on the trip a chance to connect with each other too. I would definitely book other tours with them!

He was a very kind and experienced guide and we had a great day. Bruni Island in autumn, with its foliage, is a quiet, naturally rich place, with some beautiful beaches, and the raw oysters from there were exceptionally delicious.

Skyr was a lovely driver with a sweet personality. I wish she would have given us more information about Hobart and Tasmania as we drove. She gave us some information when we got to the destinations, but not much commentary as we drove past many places. The Borango reserve was interesting and what a unique experience feeding the Roos. Unfortunately it rained so our view at the top of the mountain was cloudy and we really didn’t see anything.

Skye was very pleasant, but she did not offer a guided tour. However, she offered very limited information while driving and did not go with the guests on the first stop, she just pointed (it was raining, maybe she did not want to get wet). The final stop she walked with us after our request, but did not add any information during the walk to the wildlife refuge. This was not so much a round as a bur ride to 3 areas in Hobart.

Didn’t realize I hadn’t wrote a review for this tour! An absolute blast that goes all over Tasmania & showcases a lot of great locations. If you’re limited on time in Tassie, this is a great tour to see a ton of sights to feel like you’ve got your monies worth.
