Denne grupperejse er udelukkende på engelsk. Vores byrundtur giver den besøgende mulighed for at opdage det bedste fra Bayeux og Normandiets historie. Beundre og identificer de arkitektoniske træk ved dens middelalderbygninger og dens fantastiske katedral. Lad din guide forkæle dig med historier om gamle håndværk og gamle skikke. Lær om store begivenheder og små anekdoter gennem mange århundreder. Denne tur er perfekt til at supplere dit besøg på D-Day-strandene, Bayeux-tapetet, Museum of Arts and History, War Memorial Museum og Bayeux-katedralen. Vi sigter efter at give en fornøjelig og informativ tur. Vores guider er flydende, vidende og sjove! Velegnet til >8 år. Alle deltagere skal have et godt engelsk niveau.

This tour is a fun way to learn interesting historical background and snippits of information about Bayeux and Normandy. Christele, our tour guide, totally engaged the group and her sense of humour was refreshing and appreciated. My husband was not initially enthusiastic about taking a historical walk, but really enjoyed it.

Highly recommend. Delightful tour of Bayeux, exploring its extensive medieval history, how it avoided destruction during WW2, along with suggestions on what to see and do both in Bayeux and the area.

Christele was everything you could hope for in a guide. She struck a balance of sharing historical information and fascinating anecdotes that made the history come alive. She was warm and friendly and made everyone in the group feel welcome. We were able to view beautiful architecture while hearing the stories about various historical events and the timeline as it related to Bayeux. The tour was a highlight of our time in France.

Christele was amazing! I’m not someone who easily follows history type tours and she made learning about this city fun and memorable. Her English was perfect as well. I love how she recaps and makes it so interesting! Great tour! You have to book this when you see it cause I saw other tours and they were overcrowded. This one was smaller and a perfect size! I see why it books up weeks beforehand.

Bayeux was the stepping stone to fame of William the conqueror, but his move to Caen decreased its importance as a city, which lasted for centuries and its lack of significant industry and military importance meant no harm to the city during D-day and the remaining 85 days necessary to the conclusion of the Normandy invasion. We had an excellent guide that faithfully described the landmarks of the city.
Our guide was cheerful, pleasant and knowledgeable. We learned many interesting facts about the town and sites we visited. We felt this tour was a good value and would recommend it for your first day in Bayeux.
