For at starte din dag kan du møde din turistguide på dit hotel, og derefter besøge berømte steder som Miyajima, Itsukushima-helligdommen, Hiroshima fredsminnepark, Shukkeien japanske have og Hiroshima-slottet. Din guide vil tilpasse din private tur i detaljer efter dine interesser. Otte timer er den perfekte mængde tid til at tjekke ud både Hiroshima og Miyajima øen. Hiroshimas Peace Memorial Park (平和 記念 公園, Heiwa Kinen Kōen) er et af de mest fremtrædende træk i byen. Selv besøgende, der ikke leder efter det, vil sandsynligvis snuble over den store park på over 120.000 kvadratmeter. Dens træer, græsplæner og vandrestier står i skarp kontrast til det omkringliggende centrum. Før bomben var området for det, der nu er Fredsparken, det politiske og kommercielle hjerte af byen. Hiroshima Slot (広島城, Hiroshimajō), også kaldet Carp Slot, er et bemærkelsesværdigt eksempel på et slot bygget på en slette i centrum af en by. Dens areal er omgivet af en grøft, og slottet omfatter en helligdom, historiske ruiner og genopbyggede Ninomaru (second bailey) bygninger. Bygget i 1589 af den mægtige feudale herre Mori Terumoto, Hiroshima Castle var et vigtigt magtsæde i det vestlige Japan. Miyajima (宮島) er en lille ø mindre end en time uden for byen Hiroshima. Det er mest berømt for sin gigantiske torii port, som ved høj tid synes at flyde på vandet. Tenshinkaku (天心閣) er et japansk gammelt hus i Miyajima, som ligger på en bakke. Du kan nyde den smukke udsigt over Toyokuni helligdom, fem-etagers pagode og Seto ø havet på én gang.

Hiroshi is an excellent, knowledgeable, and highly personable tour guide. My son and I spent 8 hours with him between the Hiroshima Ground Zero and Peace Memorial and Miyajima. His English is superb. He was very communicative both prior to and during the tour (such as inquiring as to our desired walking pace) and kept a brisk but comfortable pace throughout the tour. The itinerary was well designed, too. I highly recommend Hiro-san to anyone looking to explore and learn about Hiroshima, Miyajima, and Japanese culture.
Minori was a lovely guide. She met us at our hotel and planned a very informative day in Hiroshima and Miyajima. She gave us insights into the events on August 4th 1945, as well as ensuring we had plenty of time for reading information, asking questions and taking photos. We went to a hidden gem for a delicious lunch before taking us on the fast ferry to Miyajima. We learnt the protocol for visiting a shrine. We enjoying sitting having a beer and sharing stories. We did a circular tour of important places in Hiroshima with a lovely guide.
We had an exceptional guide Sachi. She was in touch prior to our arrival and met us as planned. This was our first time using a private tour guide while on a cruise and we felt very confident that she would have us back to the ship before sailing time. She guided us expertly through the transport needed for our trip. Through out our time with Sachi she explained everything thoroughly and was very happy to answer our multiple questions throughout our tour. Sachi is extremely knowledgeable and we certainly recommend her to those considering tours in Hiroshima.
Today we had a full day with Kazuhisa To exploring Hiroshima and Miyajima Island. To was great with communication leading up to the day and made us feel very comfortable with a full itinerary provided before we arrived. The day was well thought out and covered everything we wanted to see in the area. To was knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his city and its history. He was friendly and easy to spend the day with, and booked us a beautiful place for lunch. We are so thankful to have had such a wonderful day! Thank you To!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Sei visiting Hiroshima. He planned a perfect itinerary that fit our needs exactly, including juggling some sensitivity to heat as well as food choices. He met us at the train station exactly on time and took us to Miyajima first to coincide with high tide for best views. He was informative, friendly, and answered all of our questions - including from our very curious teenage daughter who had lots of questions. Afterwards, we visited the Peace Memorial where Sei arranged for a special private viewing of a very powerful documentary. We were all extremely moved.
